"i can't take this." heeseung gave back the strawberry milk you gave to him.

"just take it. it's a sign of gratitude from me." you said and put it back on his desk.

he sighed once again, "it's not that. i just don't like strawberry. im more into choco. " your mouth formed a small 'oh' after you realized what he wanted.

"im sorry. i'll just buy another one tomorrow." you said and took the strawberry milk. you sat back down and wrote some notes for the next subject.

what happened to never-talk-to-heeseung-again?

you "tss" yourself as you remembered what you said earlier this morning. how are you going to ignore this guy now? he's basically the reason you still haven't gotten detention.

subjects in your afternoon session already finished, and you're just waiting for the last two subjects until dismissal. you sighed happily, thinking tomorrow's already friday.

"yejin," heeseung called and you looked at him with confusion. "im thirsty."

"what now?" you asked him.

he gave you a glare and said, "give me the strawberry milk,"

you were silent for awhile and then, ".... i drank it already"

"what? you finished them all??" he asked and you just nodded. he stood up from his chair and went outside the classroom. you really didn't know where he was going, but you guessed it was the cafeteria. since there were still time left before the next teacher arrives, you also went outside, specifically to the restroom.

while going back to the classroom, you saw heeseung holding 1 bottle of chocolate drink.  you went to him and smiled, "nothing for me??"

he looked at you,  "why would i give you--"

you pouted and walked ahead of him, "nevermind."

you tucked your hands in the pockets of your jacket and tilted your head down. only a few steps until you arrive at you classroom, but you suddenly stopped when you saw a pair of shoes right infront of you. you slowly trailed your eyes up and saw the owner of the shoes' face.

"ya,, you should look here, not on the floor. you might bump into someone again. " sunghoon nagged. "what if you bump into your teacher, or worse, what if you meet that brat again?? what if she hurts you? or what if you trip on something? either way, you'd still get hurt. please take care of youself."

you looked at him, confused, "what??"

"how was it? did i actually sound like a boyfriend??" he then let out a smile, completely opposite from what he was showing earlier.

"the heck???" your annoyed self has bursted, "no, you sound like my mom."

jay and jake ran up to sunghoon and laughed,, "she said you sound like her mom!"

you left and continued to walk. "ya! JANG YEJIN!" sunghoon called, but you ignored him. what has happened to that guy?? he was so nice,, and the next thing you know he's bursting with fire.  but you couldn't stop yourself from thinking that... he was cute though.

"aish!" you slapped yourself after you thought of that. "no,, there's no way he's cute. yejin, wake up.  you CANNOT fall for him, and you SHOULDN'T fall for him ugh."

"okay class, turn your english book to page 45." mrs. cha said. you flipped the pages of your books, and wrote the notes.

•••••••

"here,," heeseung placed a bottle of strawberry milk on top of your desk. you were startled, but at the same time, you were confused.

"i believe you're mistaken??" you put the bottle back on his desk.

"no, it's for you. you wanted it right?" heeseung put it back on your desk.

"oh that,," you pursed your lips before you could speak again, "that was just a joke, but thank you."

"i knew it was a joke." heeseung said in a low tone, "but jokes are half-meant."

the people around you just kept passing by, but no ships or anything. they were just looking at you with weird stares. it's not like you wanted them to ship you, but it is too quiet and it just doesn't feel right.

"hey,, you see their stares?" you whispered to heeseung. he then turn around to look at them.

"yes, i see it." heeseung nodded and pulled his black backpack, "and it's weird, but i need to go. "

you were walking alone on the road, while listening to some music. you were just doing what you usually do, not until, a girl walked beside you. she was your classmate, minha.

"annyeong,," she smiled and waved her hands at you. you removed your earphones and smiled at her. "you're the girl who's always with heeseung, right??"

"yeah... " you answered as you nodded.

"i ship you with him. you're both cool." minha giggled. what does she mean by cool? as far as you know, people from your class never bother to know about you, well at least before the 'shipping with heeseung' incident.

"you know, if i were you, just go get heeseung already. he's got the looks, the brain, practically everything." she pouted, "it's just sad we aren't allowed to ship you with him."

"aren't allowed? why?" you asked.

"heeseung warned us,," she said and sighed, "he told us not to ship you or something."

"really??" you don't know why you felt sad about it, when there was really nothing to be sad about. and besides, it's good right?? less shipping.

"yes. i don't really know why, since im not close with anyone especially him. he just told the class when you were away, maybe it was lunch time??" she said as she tried to remember.

"oh.." you nodded, "by the way, i'm not really familiar with you since it's just our first time being classmates."

"im kinda new. i just started studying at your school last year." she smiled. "ah! i forgot to introduce myself. i'm minha! nice to meet you."

"i'm yejin. nice to meet you too." you smiled back and for the first time in your high school life, you finally found a friend.
