Louis has always been a curios child. And that did not change at all when he grew older. If that, it got even worse.

Because now, with 19 years of age, he still gets in quite a lot of trouble. His curiousity and mischievousness always seems to get the better of him, no matter what.

So it's not a real surprise to his father as he gets a call from Louis' teacher, complaining about the boy not respecting an alpha classmate the way he should.

Again.

"Okay, but--" Louis starts to defend himself as he is walking down the light grey hallways slightly behind his father.

"There are no buts, Louis." his father sighs, shaking his head. "When will you start to follow the rules? You know how important they are. Do you know what a bad image that puts on me?"

"He was insulting me, dad! Should I just stay quiet?" he asks, even though he already knows the answer. They have been over this before. Too many times for both their likings.

"Yes, Louis. If it's an alpha, yes - always." He sighs and stops in front of their apartment. "I expect you to stay here until I'm back. Behave, Louis."

Louis looks down and nods. "Yes, dad"

He watches his father leave back down the empty hallway. No one is here since everyone living on this floor is either at work, school or day care for the pups.

He holds his wrist over a small device next to the door. The device glows green and it beeps once at the same time before Louis pushs open the door. He lets it fall shut behind him and leans against the cool metal with a long sigh.

His blue eyes roam around the living room in front of him. It looks decent, he doesnt know anything else. With his father being head of security they have one of the more luxurious apartments. Every apartment in this hallway is a luxurious apartments. And everyone living here are some important people, the alphas working in high ranked places.

Louis hates it here.

He hates that they think they are better than he is just because of his second gender. And he hates that they think his father is less of an alpha just because his son thinks a few of their rules are stupid and outdated. Maybe a lot of those rules.

Louis walks through the living room, past the black leather couch towards the open kitchen. The omega takes the familiar route past the kitchen island to the fridge to get a bottle of water. With that in hand he walks to one of the doors to the right, when you go back out of the kitchen. The one closer to the kitchen is his bathroom and the second one is his bedroom - which he enters. Opposite his bedroom is his father's with an attached bathroom.

He enters his little safe space and walks to his old fashioned armchair. He puts the bottle of water down on the little wooden side table next to the seat and takes the book that's lying on top of it.
