Chapter 2

Dove's POV

It was coming to the end of our first day back and i forgot how tiring all this dancing was. We all collapsed to the floor after rehearsals ended, it was a mix of pure exhaustion and the fact we all couldn't stop laughing. Kenny wrapped up the end of the day by talking to us about what is going to happen for the next week on set. I can't wait to start filming with all my friends but i'm most excited to do my duet with Sofia. We got the details about all of the songs as we were leaving and as soon as we both saw our names next to the song 'Space Between' we screamed in excitement. 

"i'm sooo excited for our duet" Sofia said as we ran back to our trailer

"i know so am i, have you read the song yet?" i said whilst putting my jacket on the couch

"no not yet but i'm sure its amazing"

"we should ask Kenny if we can get the song early"

"yeah we should, do you wanna go and ask him now?" Sofia said with a smile

"yes lets go, i just need to get my things first" 

"okay i'll get my things and we can go"

The girls got changed and got all their things together that they were taking home, it didn't take long since they would be back in their trailer early the next morning. They both walked out of the trailer and locked the door, then they ran over to where Kenny was working.

"Dove! Sofia! what can i do for you girls?" he said whilst embracing us in a hug

"hi Kenny" we both said simultaneously 

"we was wondering if we could get the sheet music and lyrics to our duet so we can read it" Sofia asked with a persuasive tone

"well i'm sure i could do that, there are still some kinks with the music that we need to work through but i could give you a copy of the lyrics"

"that would be amazing Kenny, thank you" i said with a smile

"your more than welcome girls, i will email you both a copy"

"thank youuu, see you tomorrow" Sofia said as we walked off

I linked my arm with Sofia's and we walked to the parking lot, on our way there we bumped into the boys and the other girls, and we all started talking.

B: Booboo

Dy: Dylan

Ch: China

Sa: Sarah

Br: Brenna

C: hey girls 

D&S: hi guys

B: how did you guys find the first day of rehearsals?

S: tiring but i'm so glad we're all back 

D: same and i love that we have new members in our descendants family

Ch: i'm so excited to work with you guys 

Dy: yeah same we're going to have a lot of fun

T: yeah a lot of fun *winks at Dove*

D: steady on there Thomas, keep your eyes to yourself

T: ugh your no fun

*they all laughed*

S: anyways what are you guys doing now?

Br: i think we're all just going to go home because its late

C: we should all get together at someones house at the end of every week, so we can all hang out without having to rehearse non stop

S: yes we should do that, who's house?

D: we could do it at my house if you guys want

B: yeah thats a good idea

S: okay so we all go to Dove's on friday?

Ch: yep sounds good

C&B: okay well i'll see you guys tomorrow

Ch&Sa&Br: yeah see you guys tomorrowww

Dy: bye guys

T: see ya *winks at Dove again*

D: Thomas i swear to god *goes to run after him*

S: *pulls Dove back and laughs* come on Chlo, bye guyssss

The girls then walked to their cars laughing about Dove's sudden outburst of violence, they stopped before going to their own cars to say bye.

"so when are we going to read through our song?" Sofia said whilst looking for her keys

"um well we both have a break at the same time tomorrow so we could read it then and we could get coffee" i said in a hopeful tone

"okay its a date *smiles*, anyways i have to get going now. see you tomorrow Chlo" Sofia said as she pulled me into a hug

"y-yeah i'll see you tomorrow Sof" i said trying to hide the pure shock i was going through

Dove stood there and watched Sofia walk to her car and drive off, she then jumped into her car and started to drive out of the parking lot. Her mind couldn't stop racing about what Sofia had just said.

"its a date..." she couldn't of meant it like that, surely not. I know Sofia is straight, well i've actually never asked her but i've always assumed that, since she's only ever been with boys. Ugh i'm overthinking about this, of course she didn't mean it as a real date, we're just getting coffee. Anyways, even if she did like girls she would probably never want to be with me, she deserves so much better. I just need sleep...yes thats it...i'm just tired and i'm taking all of this the wrong way, i'll just go to sleep and get ready for rehearsal tomorrow. There is nothing to think about, it's just a normal day. Nope...there is a lot to think about, my brain won't switch off.

Sofia's POV

Did i really just say "its a date..." ugh what is wrong with me, i need to control what i say more otherwise Dove might think something is up. She can't know that i have a crush on her, it will ruin our friendship and i know i wouldn't be able to cope with that, its better this way anyways. What am i saying, of course it not better this way, at least not for me. 

As soon as i said that i immediately walked to my car, Dove looked like she had just seen a ghost after i said them three stupid words. I got home really fast because i was thinking too much and i just needed to get sleep. And i'm now lying on my bed thinking about what i said and regretting everything. I don't even know if Dove likes girls, she probably doesn't, whyy do i always have to fall for straight girls, i have a serious problem! 

No One's POV

Soon enough both of the girls had fallen asleep after many hours of overthinking the smallest of situations but to both of them it was huge, even though neither of them knew how much it actually meant for them.

The two girls were so desperate for each others undying love, yet at the same time, so desperate to keep it all a forbidden feeling.

Hey guys, sorry for the late update i've had a lot more work than i thought, but its half term next week so i will hopefully have a lot more time to write. I hope you guys are enjoying the story so far. 1195 words 🙌
