Dark and cold, The small bed within the wall was yet still cozy. Slight sounds of rustling fills the space. His bed more of a cage, and his room a nicely decorated office. A dark Closet opened just a crack pitch black other than the street light seeping in through a window half blocked by a solid curtain. Walls painted by hand, a nice blend of colors to make a galaxy with L.E.D. lights circling the ceiling waiting to be turned on in the the darkness of a weekend night. He liked the darkness, it reminded him of how alone he was, but it was comforting because he never really felt alone.

His bed was located within the attic, a wall put up at the end, Insulation behind glued and pinned fabric of a deep black. L.E.D. lights again trailing to the corners, turned off as to sleep with his small cave of a bed. Cozy as can be he started to drift off, bet kept being awoken by small bumps and creeks, mostly sounds of the water heaters that trailed through the house. With such silence his brain prefers to fill the endless void with sounds from her memory. Like laughter, voices, anything to fill the void. But this time the laughter and voices where not from the filling of space.

Two knocks landed on the cabinet doors beside him, locked like always. He lay there, still and quiet, hoping that it doesn't come again, hoping that it is of just small fragments of memories combining to make one loud-"knock knock. Your turn"
