❝ Desire is the kind of thing that eats
people up and leaves them starving. ❞

His dark orbs filled with desire as he met eyes with the woman in his embrace. His fingertips caressed the exposed skin on her stomach, drawing light circles. She could feel knots tightening in her stomach as his eyes bore into hers and his touches lighted up her skin.

Her back was pushed against the ice-cold wall, while he was merely a couple inches away from her. She could feel his muscle-bound body against hers. The fragrance that emitted off of him was laced with the strong smell of lavender and alcohol.

She had absolutely no recollection of how she had gotten herself into this situation, but all she knew in that moment was that she wanted him. And she had always gotten what she wanted.

Her soft lips collided with his as her arms wrapped around his neck. He responded to her kiss immediately; his hands traveled down the woman's figure. As his hands grasped her thighs tightly, hoisting her up, her legs wrapped around his toned torso. His hands gripped onto her bottom, holding her up.

His tongue glided into and out of her mouth, before his upper teeth grazed against her bottom lip, eliciting a soft moan from her. She sucked harshly on his bottom lip as her fingers brushed through his dark locks.

She hated how he had her wrapped around his finger. She hated the way she craved him ever passing second she was around him. But more than anything, she hated that he had control over her that no one but him could and would ever obtain.

❝ He was her darkest secret and she
intended to keep it that way. ❞

Her eyes widened as her gaze landed upon the male. His dark brown locks tousled in the wind as his figure leaned against the rock wall adorned in moss. He was dressed in black dress pants, black dress shoes, and a clean, white dress shirt that hugged his torso quite nicely.

Her heart palpitated in her chest as she grabbed his soft hands in hers and ran into the garden, where flowers and leaves shielded the lovebirds from being seen—especially by her father.

"What are you doing here?" Her glossy orbs searched his. A pout creeped onto his lips.

"Is it a crime to meet up with my girlfriend?" They both knew the answer to that. To their family, yes—the biggest crime they could possibly commit. Silence engulfed the humid air.

His arms wrapped around her small frame as his chin nuzzled into the crown of her head. The fragrance of gardenia and jasmine hit his nose as he buried his face in the crook of her neck. His soft lips touched her neck softly igniting sparks in her stomach.
