|3rd person POV|

As Solis scrolled through her playlist on her bus ride home from school, she daydreamed what it would be like if she could live another life. One with love, fun, people to talk to, a way to express herself, and colors.

Her world was grey and cold, rarely having a splash of color. Boring. Solis didn't have anything particularly good, nor bad happen to her. She didn't have a traumatic past, or any big problems that needed a solution.

She had nothing terrible to hate, but she couldn't help but long for a change.

As the bus screeched to a halt at her stop, Solis hopped off.   Solis was slowly walking back to her home as different kpop songs and anime openings blasted in her headphones

No one noticed her, she had straight light brown hair just reaching past her shoulders, long bangs hanging low below her eyebrows just above her eyes with two strands framing her face.  A plain face too, so she didn't expect anyone to notice her anyways.  She was strictly ordinary.

After finally arriving home, she noticed that both her parents were already home, as usual.

Knowing they wouldn't greet her or give her any attention she took dinner up to her room. She quickly finished and brought the dishes downstairs before returning back to her room.  Flopping on the bed Solis wondered what she should do.  Today was a rare day, she had no homework assigned.  Oddly enough this seemed to be happening more lately, as if telling her she should try doing something.

'Great way of telling me I'm lazy' She thought.

The boredom Solis felt had not changed her entire life.  She saw the world in black and white, literally.  However, this was different than simply being color blind.  She tried activites other people enjoyed but couldn't find a way to like them.  Of course she liked watching anime and listening to music that lit the occasional blue or yellow in her view but she didn't feel a great passion for them.

Nevertheless, she found herself back to her laptop clicking on the first episode of Boku No Hero Academia/My Hero Academia, one of her first anime.

'Might as well rewatch' She thought happily.

While watching, Solis scribbled about her quirk she would have, different weapons she could wield, and all the friends she could make.  The girl sketched her hero costume as temporary colors came into her boring, colorless world.

She ignored the deathly silence from the house, only the sounds of the pencil itching in the paper heard.

Soon enough, it was midnight. However, Solis continued.  She loved binging her shows, the next day was a weekend anyways..

However, 3 hours later she was found sleeping on her desk, her cheek squished against the desk.

As she slept dreamlessly, a mysterious voice unbeknownst to Solis called, "My dear child, they want a show. You've been watching others for far too long, now you are the show."
