Enya's POV
I woke up with a headache. The clothes from the night before were still on me. Yesterday was a nightmare. I can't even imagine how different our lives will be now that Mattheo is here. It was a big surprise for us all, mostly because none of us knew Voldemort had a child. He was kept a secret; I'm pretty sure so that they could use him. Use him to take over the Wizarding World, like Voldemort's intentions were originally. He will be the end of us, I know it.
I got up. As soon as I lifted my head off the pillow it felt like a bullet went through my brain. The sharp feeling of pain made its way from my head down my spine. Gosh, this is unbearable. I need fresh air, but classes start soon. I was already dressed and not really hungry, I could go out for a bit. I headed to the Astronomy Tower. Halls are full and my friends nowhere to be found. Even better, I could use some alone time. Everything around me seemed to be spinning. People passing me are blurry, like they're some kind of spirit, just floating around. I finally got outside. That different ambiance was a blessing for me at the moment. I could breathe, I saw things clearly again.
The morning was sunny, warm. I looked up at Astronomy Tower and it appeared like it was empty. I made my way there. The view was always so beautiful from up there, calming and peaceful too. My favorite place here at Hogwarts, my comfort space. It has been ever since my first year. I got up there and to my surprise, someone was already there. I could tell who it is, I mean, it was pretty obvious.
"Fred!" - I called out. He lifted his head and looked me straight in the eyes. A lock of his bright orange hair fell gracefully across his freckle-full cheek. Fred freaking Weasley. The smile appeared on his face, the kind that gives you butterflies. He got up and walked towards me. Now, he was standing there, towering me, not taking his eyes off of mine. "God I missed you so much" - he said pulling me into a hug. His muscular arms wrapped around my waist and his face buried into my neck, the heartfelt feeling...everything was perfect. "I missed you too, Freddie" - I whispered against his chest.
"How's George? Is he okay after everything that happened with, um...Angelina?" - I asked. We broke away from the hug. "Urm, yeah. He's doing okay. Trying to get over her, y' know?" - he said, rubbing his neck. George and Angelina broke up before the holidays have started. Always fighting, jealousy, general toxicity wasn't good for either of them. "Should we go find him? I want to say hi" - I smiled at him. He pointed his hands towards the stairs and we started walking towards the castle. It felt like all of a sudden my headache disappeared. Like he made it go away.
We entered the Great Hall together, chatting and laughing. George was sitting at the Gryffindor table, alone. The food in front of him was untouched, he hasn't eaten any of it, which made me worry. "Gorge, look who's here!" - Fred called out. His sudden shouting made me jump a little, as it did George. "Oh, hi Enya! Come here, you two!" - he shouted back. These two always knew how to get attention from everyone in the room, and they didn't fail this time either. Everyone in there was staring at us, but quickly looking away as they saw that it was the twins who made a hullabaloo. Fred and I sat at the table, facing George. "So, how was your summer" - he asked looking at me and crossing his arms putting them on the table. "It was really boring. I had nothing to do, the only thing I did was read and sit outside all day long. Lucky you, your family is huge. It's like having a big friend group that will always be there for you. I only have Louis" - I said excitedly. Both of them started laughing. "But it's always so loud and chaotic. Do you really want that? And besides, what's wrong with Louis? He's a great lad!" - Fred said. "Since when do you, Fred Weasley, don't like loud and chaotic? That seems very unlike you if you ask me. And there's nothing wrong with Louis, he's just a bit...lame" - I said, smiling to myself. "Where is he anyway? Won't he be late for class?" - George asked. He's right, I haven't seen Louis since I left him in the common room. He's never late too, it made me worry a bit. "I don't know. Maybe he went with his friends somewhere? I don't doubt that he'll get here on time, he's Louis Henley after all. The guy who's never late" - I chuckled. "You're right, I'm silly for even mentioning it" - George said, smiling.
It amazed me how two so similar people can be so different. George was the quiet, shy one, and Fred, Fred was the life of a party. Mischievous boys, I must say. Not once failed to make me laugh.
Louis' POV
Sun rays peeking through my window woke me up. Ah, a sunny day, something that gives me so much joy. I got up and got dressed in my robes. Mattheo's bed was empty. I almost forgot that we shared a room. I was not really scared of him anymore. Curious? Of course, but not scared. After all, Dumbledore's here to protect us, ain't that right?
I have to find Enya, to check on her. Draco really pisses her off. He gets on my nerves too, but not as much as on Enya's. He's been bullying her since forever and it's obvious why she's so tired of him. I turned around to check the time. Classes are about to start, I should head to the Great Hall.
People were still in halls, classes haven't begun yet. As I was walking through the castle I could swear someone was following me. I could sense it. I hurried up just in case. I was right, someone was following me, but I couldn't tell who. Every time I speeded up, that person did too I was afraid to look back. I was so focused on the footsteps behind me that I got lost. I missed all of the classrooms and common rooms. We ended up in an to me unknown part of Hogwarts. My heavy breathing was the only thing that could be heard.
"Turn around. I won't hurt you" - the person behind me said in a low, raspy voice. I didn't want to, I was too scared. "I said, turn around" - the person commanded. Slowly, I turned my body around, facing the floor. I looked up to see the one and only, Mattheo Riddle. "What do you want from me?" - I asked. "Oh don't play brave with me. We both know you're terrified" - he said, coming closer to me. I didn't know what to say, he was right, it was pretty obvious. "I need you to do me a favor" - his voice deepened.
Enya's POV
After chatting for a while, twins and I made our way to the classrooms. Louis still wasn't here. I assumed he already went to his class. Hermione, Ron, and Harry were already there, waiting for me. "Finally" - Ron said looking in my direction. Harry and Hermione turned around. "Well hello, my dear friends. I see you've been waiting for me, how sweet" - I made my way to their table and sat next to Ron. "We were worried, dummy. We haven't seen either you or Mattheo since yesterday" - Hermione said. She had that worried and upset tone in her voice. "I'm okay, I haven't seen Mattheo either. I wonder if he'll attend any of our classes" - I said, looking back at the door I came in through.
At the same moment, through the same door, Mattheo walked in. We made eye contact, but he broke it off quickly and sat in the empty seat. I wanted to talk to him, get to know each other. He had the type of energy that even the little bit of it makes you want it more and more every time. He was a stranger to me, but I felt like we were close. Really close.
