Alone Together, In a Tent (Pt. 1)

Wildvine POV

"Well great.  Just great!  The camping group left me behind with you, you started a forest fire, I nearly got mauled by a bear, and now our lantern won't work!"  I was practically screaming at the top of his lungs.  I assumed Stinkfly found it cute.

"Oh, LIGHTEN up buddy!"

There was an awkward silence.

Then I sprayed Stinkfly with bug spray.

"Ow, quit it!  You know that hurts!"  He yelled.  "If you're torturing me, I'm gonna torture you!"  Wildvine said.  "Well, the best we can do is just go to bet, it's getting late, and the only thing we have to eat that's left are a few cold pizza lunchables, a bit of my wing that got damaged, and a tube of chapstick."  Stinkfly said.  "Man we're in a real sucky situation..."

Cut to the tent

3rd Person POV

It was awkward.  They used to have separate tents, before their old one got destroyed by that goddamned STINKING BEAR!  So yeah.  They tried to stay as far apart as possible, but it was nearly impossible, because...  well... the tent was tiny.  Because the tent was supposed to be the shared one between Echo Echo and Ditto.  "...  So...  the stars are nice tonight."  Stinkfly said, peeking his head out the tent.

"mmmmshutupimtired-"  Wildvine mumbled, digging his head further into his pillow.  "Fine, fine..."  Stinkfly responded, trying to fall asleep.

But for some reason.

He couldn't.

And it wasn't in the way you'd expect.

Stinkfly POV

'Do have feelings for...  no, no, I don't!  We're mortal enemies!  ...  right?'

Wildvine woke up, out of nowhere, heavily sweaty.  "You ok?"  I asked.  "Y-yeah, it was just a dream."  Wildvine responded.  "Ok..."  I said.

Wildvine POV

'Why...  why did I have a dream like that?!  I never realized until now...  I-  ...  I have to tell him tomorrow morning.
