Hi, I know this was a pretty short story with not too much detail. I wrote this pretty quickly, but if anyone actually reads this and would like a sequel- I'd be more than happen to write one with more detail and intensity! I intended for you to get to know characters like Dex and Luke more, and while that did not happen, I'll make sure to include that in a sequel. However, if this was enough for you, but you would just like to know what happens after, this part should satisfy you.

5 YEARS LATER (Tyler's POV)

I look outside the window to see Cassandra running around the front lawn, accompanied by Melanie, Dex, Luke, and our pups. I am so glad that everything has worked out the way it has. Melanie's mate is Nick, and I am incredibly grateful that I chose him to find her and her father. She didn't even need to take the mating drugs- they recognized each other as mates at first sight. Seems that they were less stubborn than Cassandra and I.

At first, the pack was hesitant to accept a rogue into the pack as their new Luna. However, she proved herself quickly and has been a strong and benevolent leader. She makes it her duty to insure that everyone in the pack is happy, and that every issue is dealt with fairly. I've seen her grow so much over the last few years, from a broken girl with a lot of unresolved anger, to a loving, compassionate mother.

We decided to stop after two pups, despite my protests. While I always pictured a huge family, Cassandra had never imagined herself with one at all. After finding me, she realized she wanted a family, but nothing too big. We had two boys- Andrei and Miles. These additions to the family made Dex and Luke godfathers, as my mate had grown rather fond of them. While I had always pictured my Beta and Gamma to be the godfathers of my children, I wanted to pick someone that both her and I loved. Of course, who knows? Perhaps she'll cave in and soon there will be two more pups for me to involve Kai and Nick with. However, for now I'll be grateful for the friendship that has formed between Cassandra, Dex, and Luke.

Everything has seemed perfect lately, well, except for the one thing that has been plaguing Cassandra. Her father. For the past year and a half, she's gotten it into her head that she would like to find her father and speak with him. She wants to make amends with her past, especially since the pack life has been reminding her of her roots. It's been impossible to track him down, and she spends every night trying to research his whereabouts. It had been so long since she was in his pack so far away, and it doesn't help that she doesn't even remember it's location. Sometimes I feel as if he doesn't want to be found.

I pray that's the only issue we'll have to face for awhile, especially with the way it's consuming her. But somehow, someway... I feel that hope is false. I smell something coming, something bad. My wolf has been rather weary lately, and I've been paranoid. My instincts never betray me. I don't want to worry my mate with this, but what if I wait too long to warn her and it's too late....
