Chapter 4

Cams pov

Hayes just came down stairs to watch McKinzie and told me to go to bed. Now I am in bed thinking to my self why do I have two people in my life with cancer. My mom has bladder cancer and my sister has leukemia. What am I going to do? Now I am thinking about all the good times I had with McKinzie. Like when we got our first dog.
Flashback starts:

My mom, my sister, and I were at the animal shelter looking for a new puppy. My mom asked "what kinda of dog do we want". McKinzie and I both said husky. So the lady at the front brought out a beautiful blue-eyed husky. I immediately fell in love with it and so did McKinzie and my mom. So we bought it and named him Jacks.
Flashback ended
I looked over to Jacks and though about that day until I fell asleep.

McKinzie's Pov

I woke up I Hayes arms and I had butterfly's. I have had a crush on Hayes since 8th grade at our spring fling when my date ditched me. Hayes of course came to the rescue and then he brought me home and we kissed before he left and than the fireworks went off. and I have liked him ever since. Now I don't know if he like me back and if he did does he still since I have cancer. Or does he love me more now than he did when I didn't have cancer
