Somehow, an airport is always busy. The kind of busy that people often see. People walking fast while dragging their belongings, hand holding
a phone glued to their ear, taking pictures of every possible corner. And people usually bump into each other which was followed with a cold "sorry" and "no problem" after.
A one minute interaction and even
a more less feelings involved. But that time is different. I can already see what would happen when the man who had his blond hair pushed back, who is dragging two suitcases with his hand, came running from the opposite direction i am in.
My brain is not fully functioning yet to react when i hit the floor and watch my suitcase flying over, along with him and his two other suitcases.
I yelped, fully shocked at what happened. And before i could register anything, he came back with a grin displayed cutely on his face, glancing towards the three suitcases trailing behind him.
I tried to hide my laugh, accepting his hand that is being offered to help me to get up. He pushed my suitcase over and broke into laughter.
"I am really sorry." It would be a lie if i say i've heard someone laughing that sweetly before.
"No, its okay." i chuckled, fully drawn in the man's beautiful face feature.
"Right." he nervously chuckled too and focusing his attention back to
his stuff."I'm currently in a rush? So.." I don't know why it sounds like a question
for himself."Yeah i can see that." I reached to my own stuff and preparing myself to begin walking again.
"Yeah unfortunately i need to- like go run again so" Oh he laughed again,
a beautiful one, i must add."Yeah so, nice to meet you and i'm sorry for all that" he adds, pointing at me and my suitcase before bursting out another laugh.
"Its fine, i needed a good laugh anyway and you're freely giving it to me so-" Somehow my tongue tied,
I find myself getting lost in the middle of his green eyes."Oh, glad i somehow can be a good help." He begin walking forward. "That smile looks amazing on you, keep it up!"
And with just that, he continued to run again, probably heading for the flight gate of his plane, not even sparing me a wave but i wonder
why his smile is etched on my mind, why his sweet words are still lingering around until this day.I smiled softly, he's gonna be added to the list of another strangers without names. But by the way he acted and how he kept making me reminiscing about that time, even if it was just
a short interaction, it will surely be remembered for a long time.
