This is to people who don't support Black Lives Matter, Asian Lives Matter, Trans Lives Matter, LGBTQ+ rights, Woman's rights, ect.
: Just because someone is getting rights, doesn't mean that your rights are taken away.
I needed to say this because it was in my head since I woke up. I'm not saying you can't support police. There are some good police.
Just because the police officer who murdered George Floyd is going to jail, doesn't mean it's justice. Justice would George Floyd going home that day. Justice would be POC and other minority groups being able to exist and not have to fear for their lives.
Ma'Khia Bryant was killed a few days ago. I write this with the names of her [and all the people who have died or been murdered] in mind.
The reason I post this here, is because this is my most followed/read book.
I want to keep this short and sweet to get the message across quickly.
