Salt stared at mirror. His hair was getting out of hand. He hasn't cut it in a long while. There was bags under his eyes. He had trouble sleeping at night. He can't remember what happened. Not like he wanted to remember. He washed his face with cold water and when he opened his eyes, for a split second, "Pirate?" He stared at the mirror for a moment before turning around. Of course, there wasn't anyone there. He has to accept, he still isn't over it. It has been such a long time. Soda and Sorbet were in high school. It feels like they were in 5th grade just yesterday. Salt decided to go out and get his mind off of things. He got ready but before he could open the front door he felt something grab his ankle. "Don't.. Go.. Squid... Lonely..." Salt looked down at his kid and remembered that it was only him and Squid Ink in the house since their brothers were at school. "I'll take you to Aunt Ice, does that sound good?" Squid Ink got visibly happy "Aunt... Ice... Not... Lonely..." Salt smiled and picked his ink blob child up. He left the house and headed to Ice's place to drop Squid Ink off.

After that he went to the giant fish dock. He stared at the sea for a while. After some time he noticed something. A ship. An oddly familiar ship. Salt shook his head and before he knew it the ship was gone. It's been years since that happened.
