~C h a p t e r 6~

It had been at least a day now since Carlton had gone missing, and since his father is the head police man of Hurricane, he had been on the case. Though throughout the day, he had only said that Carlton was probably just playing a prank on them and that he would jump out soon enough and they could yell at him however they pleased. Zira and Jason hadn’t believed it, and soon enough, they had snuck off away from Carlton's house, taking Zira’s car to Freddies. “Stay close…” Zira says quietly to Jason, he nods a bit. 
“From what Charlie was saying, the entrance was sealed off… What if you tried to find some vents.. We are both small enough to fit through the vents…” Zira starts, Jason thinks for a moment and nods in agreement. As they pull into a parking spot, they hop out of the car and Zira locks the doors, they begin walking toward the entrance, Jason grabs Zira’s hand lightly squeezing it a bit. She smiles slightly. 
“We have to get Carlton… If nobody will do anything about it.. We have to..” Jason says, Zira nods, a determined look on her face, he lets go of her hand and runs to the entrance, she climbs down into the mall and Jason follows not needing the ladder. They begin walking toward the entrance that they had gone through so many times. Zira moves the plastic just a bit to see the entrance, they move through it and walk down the alleyway. Pulling her phone out, Zira clicks on the flashlight and points it toward the wall, seeing a vent, they begin to remove pieces so that they could get into the vents. After taking off the plate, Zira nods a bit. “I’ll go through first.. You follow after me.. So that if anything happens you can leave and find someone for help.. Okay?” Zira explains, Jason looks worried for a moment before nodding, Zira kneels and climbs into the vent beginning to crawl through, soon hearing Jason follow after her, squeaks were heard, little footsteps were heard as well, mice. They ignore it though, focused on getting into the building, making to the end of the ventilation system. Zira pushes on the plate, it squeaks a bit before falling with a loud crash, Jason jumps slightly and Zira chuckles a bit before they crawl out and stand. Zira looks around, they ended up in the main dining hall. Jason looks around. “We made it… Now what?” He asks quietly, Zira looks foreward at the stage, the lights shown brightly on the animatronic mascots. Zira grabs Jason's hand gently and they begin walking towards the stage. Jason looks around, it was dark within the dining hall all except for the stage lights, the lights from down the hallway around pirates cove had shown brightly as well. Zira looks at the animatronics and stands up onto the stage, Jason stands and watches. She walks closer and she raises her hand to brush her fingers against the large brown animatronic mascot. She closes her eyes and smiles sadly, she opens her eyes. 
“Lets go find Carlton…” She whispers softly, loud enough for Jason to hear. She turns around, opening her eyes and jumping off of the stage, they begin walking down the hallway, peeking around the corner every now and again. Jason places his hand within Zira’s, she smiles a little, the light shines brightly as they walk into the party room with Pirate’s Cove. It was quiet, the only noise that could be heard were Jason and Zira’s footsteps. Hearing a whisper, Zira turns around quickly to see Will, hands in his pocket. She lets out a breath of air. 
“Will.. You scared me… Holy cow…” Zira breathed, Jason looked terrified. “You know him Ze?” Jason asks. Zira nods a bit and smiles walking to Will and hugging him, he pats her head. “What are you guys doing here?” He asks, raising an eyebrow. 
“Looking for our friend.. Urm.. He was last seen here.. The police wouldn’t do anything about it…” Zira starts rubbing the back of her neck after pulling away from Will. He narrows his eyes down at her. “You shouldn’t be here…” He says quietly, she looks at him sternly crossing her arms. “Then what are you doing here? You shouldn’t be here either!” She says frustrated, she looks at Jason and motions for him to come to her. He does so and she grabs his hand. 
“If you can be here so can we.. We are here for our friend and that is final… So either help us or f*ck off…” She says harshly, Will winces a bit, he looks at her frowning as they begin walking down the hallway. Zira looks around a bit, she sees a storage closet and reaches for the handle, her fingers wrap around the knob and she twists it open. Just a spare room with animatronic pieces. She sighs and turns looks at Jason. “Lets-.” Her eyes widen, she tugs Jason behind her he gasps, there stood Foxy, his eyes glowing a white color brightly. He glared down at them, they scream and run past him, the sound of screeching gears and metal could be heard behind them, Zira drags Jason. She stops for a moment allowing him to hop on her back, she struggles yet stands and continues to run, she runs past the stage to the back storage room, or what used to be her ‘cozy’ room. She stops, opening the door and letting themselves in, she shuts the door behind herself and lets Jasons feet touch the ground. He frowns, she turns and looks around panting softly. The metallic sound comes closer, her eyes widen and she looks around for something to barricade the door with, finding an empty shelf, she drags it toward the door, struggling to move it. She grunts and groans but manages to block the door. She turns, Jason’s eyes were wide, she looks down to see Carlton. He looks up tiredly, his eyes brighten seeing them.
“Zira! Jason!” He whisper yells, Zira’s eyes widen seeing the torso piece of the suit. She moves closer and kneels. “Your in a springlock suit Carlton…” She whispers, he nods a little, she sighs. “Don’t move.. Anything could set the springlocks off…” She says quietly before looking around a bit more. “Carlton.. I’m gonna pop a hatch on the suit… When I do, I want you to slip out as quick as you can. The spring locks will go off, and I want you to move away as fast as you can. Jason stay close to the door, actually better yet, sit on the shelf in front of the door.. Stay out of the way.” Jason moves to the shelf and climbs up to the third shelf, curling up and watching. Carlton holds his breath, not moving a single inch. Zira moves closer, she slides her hand within the suit and carefully moves it to the side, a small click and snap it heard, she winces, pulling her hand out she nods and Carlton slips out kicking off the suit to the side, snaps and pops can be heard. Zira cradles her hand carefully, Carlton sighs softly, he looks at them both. 
“Thanks… That was awful..” He says softly, he looks toward the opposite corner he was stuck in. “But there is someone else.. Urm…” He starts, Zira looks at him questioningly. He frowns and stands up. “M-Michael… ..He is… Uh…” He says slowly, he seems afraid to say it, he looks at the corner, pieces of gold tattered furr peek out, exposed rusty metal feet, exposed wires. Zira walks over slowly, Carlton calls for her. She ignores him, walking to the corner, she kneels and places her hand gently on the leg, closing her eyes. Her hair turns purple a bit as well as her skin, she crawls foreward and hugs the object, her eyes closed still. She blacks out only to wake up in a darkened room of sorts. She looks around.
“H-..Hello?” A small child's voice calls out, Zira turns to find a small child, a little girl, raven colored hair, sad hazel eyes, and black darkened liquids oozing from the girls eyes. Zira kneels, pursing her lips slightly. “Whats your name?” She asks quietly, reaching a hand out, the little girl hesitates but takes her hand, Zira pulls her into a hug causing the little girl to gasp, she calms quickly and hugs her back, closing her eyes and resting her chin on Zira’s shoulder. “I...I’m Cassidy… Your… Michaels friend… Right?” She asks shyly, Zira smiles a little. “Yes… I am Zira… You can call me Ze though.. I have talked to the other children.. Well.. Gabriel and Fritz..” Zira says gently, Cassidy nods.
“There are many other souls here…” Cassidy says, she balls up her fists. “I wish that man would die… He hurt us… he killed us…. I can never forgive that hated crime.” She says angrily, Zira frowns. “We will find him.. And make sure to lock him away.. He has affected everyone… Our friend Charlie… She had a twin brother that he took away from her… He ruined my life growing up... We will get revenge Cassidy… I promise.” Cassidy looks at Zira, she smiles a mischievous smile. “Good….” She says, another voice calls out. A boy, he sounded young, Cassidy turns and smiles sweetly toward the direction of the voice. “Michael…” She says softly, he runs up, and hugs Zira, Zira begins to tear up. “Michael… I’ve missed you… We came here for your ceremony.. And we found this place… Me.. Bunny.. And even Kadence were able to get in contact with the other souls… We will set you free soon..” She whispers, explaining, she begins to sob quietly and he rubs her head lightly. “Shh.. It's okay…. It wasn’t your fault Zeze..” He whispers softly, his voice soft and innocent. He holds her close, she continues to sob. Cassidy watches with a sad sweet smile at the moment the two shared. “We don’t have much time… Please… Find that man… There is a springlock suit in the room just down the hall from Pirates Cove…. He will try to trick us.. It won’t fool me and Cassidy… He has done this many times before....” He says, Zira looks up, her eyes puffy, she nods a bit. She kisses his forehead, he smiles, a slight flush coming across his cheeks. “I love you Zeze… Please be strong…” He whispers before they begin fading, the room lights a bit. A whine comes from Zira as she pulls from the suit, she looks at the golden bear, she had now remember where it came from. She heard loud footsteps running, a few shouts, they sounded like… John! Charlie! Jessica! She looks at the door and stands quickly. “Jason go to the golden bear and sit with them.” She says, he does so, stretching when he is at the bear, Zira moves the shelf a bit, the door opens and people run in shutting the door. “Zira! Jason!” They say, Charlie narrows her eyes and smacks Zira’s cheek harshly. “Idiot! You could have both gotten yourselves killed!...” She says frustrated. “What the hell happened to the animatronics.. They started coming after us for no apparent reason.”
“The souls within the suits are being tricked by the killer… He is here somewhere within the building… M..Michael… It in the suit.. Along with other souls.. I just came into contact with Michael and a little girl named Cassidy… Apparently there is a springlock suit that the murderer hides in… It tricks the others..” She explains, Walking footsteps can be heard and they all freeze. Charlie narrows her eyes. “Dave…” She whispers, she walks to one of the shelves that held a bat, she picks it up and swings it around a bit before running to behind the door a bit, just perched out a little, the door opens and Dave looks up with a huge grin. “Ah if it isn’t-..” Charlie wacks the back of his head with the bat and he falls limp to the ground. John smirks, kicking him slightly, he doesn’t move. Zira looks at the others. “You guys go.. I am going to watch him…” She says, John shakes his head. “No, I am staying-..” He starts, Zira shakes her head. Charlie, in your fathers office…. There is a hatch just underneath it. Get the other and go…” She explains, looking at Dave, she glares a bit. Charlie hesitates for a moment, though nods quickly and John help Carlton up. They begin to move away toward the office, Charlie pulls something from her belt and mutters something into it. After a few minutes, Zira stands and looks at the golden bear still sitting in the corner, she turns and grabs some wires, she ties up Dave and walks to grab a bit of water. Coming back she glares harshly at the man, dumping the water over him.
“Wake up…” She growls, he shudder a bit but begins moving. She kicks him hard in the ribs, a small crack is heard, he winces but makes no attempt to do anything. “Did you kill those kids?!... Why are they after us?! And how come they have not attempted to kill you yet?!” She questions, hands on her hips. He doesn’t say anything, he just stares at an object behind her. She turns to see a bunny head, it was the same one from her childhood, her eyes widen. Her heartbeat increases, she walks to it picking it up carefully and turning to him. “This?” She asks quietly, he nods a little, she walks back to him and places the head over his own head. He blinks a few times and looks at her. “You...Will...Die…” He starts, she narrows her eyebrows. “The only one who is going to die is you… I will make sure of that…” She mutters to him, he chuckles darkly. “They.. See you as an endo skeleton… With no suit…. They- try to stuff you in a suit…” He says, she bites her lower lip a bit taking in the information. She closes her eyes taking a deep breath in, she stands and opens her eyes, beginning to walk out down the hallway. She widens her eyes hearing screams from the others, she runs quickly and finds them being surrounded by the animatronic mascots, Zira runs to them. 
“They think we are endoskeletons! The insides of the suits! That is why we are being targeted.” She yells quickly. Charlie’s eyes widen a bit as she runs and jumps away from Foxy who swings his hook down at her. “Gah!- What happened to Dave!?!” Charlie heaves as she jumps and runs from Foxy. Zira’s eyes widen, she turns just a bit to see the stage door closing and hearing the click. Zira looks at Chica who had been coming toward her, she runs and jumps on the table, hopping tables, she looks at Chica. 
“SUZIE!” She yells, backflipping off of the table quickly, she falls on her butt, the Chickens claw rises and begins coming down. “Enough…” A deep voice leaks out, Zira opens her eyes a little to see golden freddy’s paw resting on Chica’s shoulder. Chica stops and looks at him slightly, a sad look on her face. 
“They are the children..” He says lowly, his voice staticing a bit, he looks to Freddy and Bonny. A crash comes from the arcade as Charlie runs out, blood leaking from her arm as she runs, Foxy soon following. “Fritz...They are our friends..” Golden Freddy says, staring deeply at Foxy. Foxy’s eyes turn to a golden hazel color, he looks down a bit. A crash is heard, and light shows from down the hall. Zira looks around a bit, Officer Clay walks down the hallway, a few officers following. The group begins to walk toward the entrance, though Charlie squeaks, Zira turns quickly to see Dave, he is in the suit and holding a knife at Charlie’s throat. “You won’t leave…” He growls lowly, Charlie winces yet raises her hand a bit to pop something just below his neck, something snaps, then it begins. Howls of pain and crying out can be heard, Charlie runs quickly to John who hugged her tightly. Marla covers Jason's eyes, holding him close, tears streaming down her cheeks. Blood soaks the ground, the animatronics watch as the man who laid in the suit gets turned into a kabob. He twists and turns in every direction, only now did Zira catch who was in the suit. Long dark black hair fell through a few of the rips, heavy purple glowing eyes, pale skin. Her eyes widen a bit, it was Will, but, Dave… Dave was Will.. Will.. Was Dave… Will… Killed children… Tears begin to stream down her cheeks as she watches the man thrashing, choking on his own thick blood. After the last few spring locks had went off, he stopped, every now and again, he would twitch violently. The animatronics crowd around him and grab him, they begin to drag him toward Pirates Cove. Zira watches, Golden Freddy stops and looks at her he lets the others drag the animatronic away, he floats to her and leans down to her. She looks up at him.
“I...I don’t wanna loose you again…” She whispers, the others had left already, not wanting to watch what else happened to Dave/Will. He lets his metal feet touch the ground, he raises an arm and brushes his furry fingers against her cheek gently. “Please… I.. I can’t do it... I don’t wanna loose you again… I don’t want to loose the other children.” She whispers, her hand raises to gently grip Golden Freddys paw, she closes her eyes and leans into his paw slowly. He starts pulling from her, he wraps his arms around her holding her close as he floats a bit sitting in mid-air, she sits in his lap and leans against his chest lightly. “You won’t loose me… I promise…” A more musculan voice whispers in her ear, her opens her eyes widening them looking up. It was Michael (not her brother), he was a bit older and had wings out stretched, Cassidy stood beside him, she looked a bit older as well, her hair laid out to her waist, the others soon joined, in older forms of themselves. “If.. If you want us to stay… We will have to merge with your body…. We will have to be sure to keep the animatronics within a basement… Somewhere safe.” Michael says, he runs his fingers through her hair gently. She looks at them all, nodding a bit. “If that means you guys can see the world… And if you guys don’t mind staying on earth..” Zira says quietly, they all smile, Suzie runs over just as Michael set her on her feet. Suzie hugs her tightly fazing into her body, Zira gasps at the feeling, it was so cold, she coughs a bit. “Gah! What the-..” Gabriel chuckles and walks to her, he hugs her and fazes into her body as well, this time she shivered and stood straight up. Jeremy ran and hugged her next doing the same. Next Cassidy, and then Michael. After everyone fazed within her body, Officer Clay came back in. “Zira? You coming?” Zira looks at Clay and nods slightly, hearing voices within her head, she shakes her head a bit, continuing to walk. "So does this mean we have to watch you.. You know shower?" Fritz asks, his thick british accent showing. Zira's face begins to burn, Michael speaks up. "Stare at what is mine and I'll kill you again…" He growls roughly. Suzie giggles. 
"Ooh!! Whats yours?!" She squeals, Zira looks down as they walk out of the building, police cars and medics were around, like before. Charlie was being rushed to the hospital. Zira looks at Officer Clay. "Clay? I have a favor to ask you.." She speaks up slowly.
"Yeah?" He responds calmly. "Mind not destroying those animatronics? Maybe ship them to my old house?.." He knew where she had lived once before, seeing as though Carlton had been her best friend at one point. Officer Clay looks confused but nods slightly. She smiles and thanks him before walking to John, Carlton, and Lamar.
"In a few weeks time… I wanna go look for him…" She whispers to them, they nod in agreement. After a few minutes, Zira sits in the ambulance, it wouldn't have ruined them physically, but mentally it would, and would be there for forever, its all over though....

"It was.. Fake blood?..." A voice asked.
