the day you left after the surgery with your hanahaki disease, mrs. mitsuki told you that there's a possible chance that you can regain your memories. it was a very rare chance though.
but, luck was on your side. you had slowly regained a lot of the memories with you and nishinoya. you were extremely happy, and so was he. although you didn't regain all of them, you were still happy with the ones you did regain.
now in the present time.
nishinoya and yuri are still dating. you never really started to like him romantically again. him, yuri, and you now all travel the world. you three became really close.
as stated before, you never really took a liking towards him anymore. you started to like someone else. before you traveled the world with nishinoya and yuri, you told sugawara how you felt.

since he knew that traveling the world is one of your biggest dreams, he said that he'll wait for you. it doesn't matter how long it takes, he'll still be there. he promised you.
that made you feel so warm and special.
then, two years later, you came back. you surprised sugawara on his birthday. you both started dating and spent every day with him. moving in together, dates, anniversaries, and much more.
yes, you both had ups and downs but, you always got over them.
after 4 years of dating, sugawara asked you to marry him. and so you did. everyone was happy for the both of you.
so in the end, it all worked out. you fulfilled all the promises you had made in high school, to your best friend, and of course, your husband.
