"Fine, you can go"
It was a cold winter day and all I did was stare out the window. I had been staying at Grimmauld Place, I looked at the street and already saw every Christmas light hanging, even tho it was Christmas I wasn't really expecting anyone to show up.
Lost in my own thoughts i couldn't even hear Dobby come upstairs and knocking on my door. "Miss, dinner's ready" i nodded and before I knew it Dobby apparated himself downstairs. as i slowly stood up from the little corner where I was sitting next to the window I felt like someone was watching me, from a distance. I ignored the weird feeling and went downstairs.
As I was walking down the stairs i heard a familiar voice coming from the dining room. And i immediately knew who it was. I ran downstairs and as usual, I was right. After quite a few months Remus Lupin had visited us again. I couldn't wait to talk to him and see if maybe he could be the one to convince my father to let me go to Hogwarts
For all these months we have been staying here my mind was on one thing, and one thing only. Hogwarts. I've been dying to go there but my father won't allow it. He thinks it's too dangerous.
As I snap out of my thoughts I continue to run downstairs. "Merlin sake, you have grown up so much!" Remus looked at me as if he hadn't seen me in years.
"Bloody hell Remus, where have u been?"
Remus Lupin was my favourite person of all time, which made sense. Besides my parents he was the only one that knew about my existence. Well... there was one other person but that's a story for another time. My father has been trying to keep me a secret for all these years and I still don't know why.
Remus looked at me and told me the news "I've been teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts" I could see the quilt in his eyes, because he knew I was dying to go Hogwarts. "Dumbledore offered me the position as a teacher and I couldn't possibly refuse" My eyes grew wide and I noticed that Remus was quite scared of what my reaction would be. "Holy shit, that's amazing!"
Remus was surprised for a few seconds, but he knew me too well. He already knew what i was going to ask him. "When you go back after Christmas, can I please go with you?" "Alright come on, I need to have a little talk with you" Sirius looked at the both of us, not even caring anymore what me and Remus had to discuss. He was used to it at this point.
"Listen Vanni, I know what ur gonna ask me and i'm sorry" "but there's a reason ur father isn't letting you go there" I looked up to him with disappointment dripping off my face. "Listen Remus, if you don't talk to him I will" Remus looked at me with irritation like I've never seen before.
"Fine, i'll talk to him at dinner" My eyes lit up as I heard the answer i've been hoping for.
As we we're eating i kept looking at Remus waiting for him to say something. After 15 minutes of absolute silence I ran out of patience. "Jezus fucking Christ, Dad when Remus returns to Hogwarts after Christmas I want to go with him"
Sirius looked me dead in the eye and just started laughing. "My dear, you must be absolutely mental if you think i'm letting you go there all by yourself" I rolled my eyes in frustration, already knowing what my next move was gonna be. "But dad, Remus will be with me the whole time, and i'm sure I won't make friends with the wrong people!"
After a longggg while of talking, talking and even more talking all my dreams came true in just a few seconds. "Fine, you can go"
There was one thing going trough my mind at this moment, "holy shit, i did it" and if I really wanted to go and stay there, I could not mess this up.
2 weeks pass and there is still one week of Christmas left. We went to Diagon alley, Ollivanders etc. We got everything I needed if I wanted to go to Hogwarts, including a cat I picked out. I named him "goose".

A week has passed and I packed all of my things that i was going to take to Hogwarts with me. "Jamie, hurry up already!" Remus was yelling as if his fucking life depended on it. "I'm coming, calm down already!" Irritated enough I went downstairs and just the thought of going to Hogwarts made all my irritations go away.
Me, Remus and Sirius made our way to the train station. "Listen up Jamie, We have to go platform 9 3/4" I looked up at him with confusion. "There's no such thing, Remus" "oh but there is Jamie" still confused i watched Remus run into a fucking wall and before I could tell him to stop he was already gone.
My father looked at me and simply said "go on then, it's your turn" he wasn't seriously expecting me to run through a fucking wall was he? "Jamie come on, we don't have all day"
I decided to give it a shot and I ran into the brick wall. Closing my eyes and preparing for the absolute worst, I was already trough the wall and I had made it to platform 9 3/4.
I saw Remus and immediately started walking towards him, still waiting for my father. And there he was, my father coming trough the brick wall with the rest of my stuff.
"Alright Jamie this is it, we go our separate ways here" I couldn't help but cry a little but i thank god my father didn't see it. "Yea, but I'll see you very soon right?"
"Yeah, we'll see each other soon" I gave him one last hug before I got on the train with Remus.
