Just a quick disclaimer that all characters are aged up, and this is a gender neutral Y/N but told from their point of view. Feel free to give me your feedback in the comments and anything else! Enjoy :)

The beats of music filled the crowded room, one thump after another sending vibration through the floors as the students partied their hearts out with cheap booze and never-ending conversations. As for Y/N, they were stuck cooped in a corner at the kitchen with a red plastic cup filled to the brim with beer. Left alone and bored, Y/N did nothing but lurk around, and possibly, if they were in the mood, try to show a few dances moves to impress others.

"Y/N, you haven't drunk any of the alcohol, is something up? You're bound to waste it by just leaving it there.",  said a thickened yet gentle voice. It was Todoroki, another fellow who didn't belong to the big crowd, just like me. "Everything is fine Todo, this just isn't my kind of thing so I'm laying back. Don't want any of the frat boys to think their peanut sized brains have a chance with me and poisoning  my drink!" I responded, biting my lip suddenly to stop myself from rambling any further. Todoroki returned a simple sigh, "Okay..well just try sticking around for the bands performance, they're my friends and I wouldn't want you missing out on that." Before I could even give an answer, he had already disappeared back into the wave of people now having them return to their usual stance. A band? Since when did their college have that? My questions did not have much time to be answered, a loud tap on a microphone coming from a centered small stage replacing my thoughts.

"Alright everyone! How are my people doing tonight?" Asked a black haired man that seemed to have rolling tape coming from his arms. It didn't take long for the crowd to rile up, loud cheers and whistles being sounded from all angles. The man let out a laugh, pushing back a couple strands of his hair when he put the microphone a bit closer to his lips. "Now, I know we've all been having a freaking blast wasting our lives away because of me, Sero, but I think it's time I show you a surprise I've got. Making their debut, and first ever live performance, here's Ephithet Exodus!" He wooed and clapped his hands, giving a thumbs up to what seemed to be a medium tall boy with greenish hair. I tilted my head to the side a bit out of curiosity, now pushing through the people to get at the front and wanting to see what was going on. The boy looked back at the drummer to what seemed to be another one of his friends, this one having blonde and spiked hair; a sinister grin plastered on his face. "Let's do this Deku!" He yelled out in a growl, counting down from 3 with his drum sticks and out came the blaring chord of a guitar through the speakers. Deku? Huh interesting name.. I jumped a bit, slightly startled to the unexpected music, but nevertheless eased up and stuck around to listen. In the middle row, there were two more playing guitar, one having blondish hair with zig zagged black streaks and the other a head shaped of a black bird. And out came the chords of the girl playing the piano! She was working her fingers to every tap of the notes, her dark raven hair tied up in a ponytail moving back in forth as she banged her head into the song. I couldn't help but keep a plastered smile across my face to hearing all their voices synchronized together, especially Deku's. His soft yet raspy voice was something that stood out the most form their vocals and I couldn't help but move my hands along with my hips to the music.

Then there it was. Without a second passing by, me and Deku's eyes met amongst everyone else here at this party. It was as if the cramped up room emptied out and fell silent, the instruments drowning out in a echo, slipping away and his voice swimming its way up. The more I looked, the more I distinguished the special features of Deku's face. His emerald eyes that matched his hair perfectly, the freckles on his cheeks that gave him that boy next door look, and yet that woven sweater filled with stars he wore made him look innocent. But under that look, I knew Deku was anything but guilt-free. As if the moment could not last forever, reality soon slipped back in, causing me to snap out of my out of body experience. I caught Deku's sly smirk and wink, as he leaned into the mic. He looked over at me again, a silent chuckle moving past his lips as he noticed my face flushing along with the grip tightening on my cup. He hadn't felt this surge of passion from anyone in a long time, and we had only just met, I could tell. Hunger is what I saw in his eyes, to the point where it seemed a threat to just turn away and walk away now. I liked it; correction, we both did actually.

The song had reached its final notation and came to a close, the golden symbol of the drums giving one concluding 'tsh' and it was over. The flock of people cried out with filled adrenaline taking in what just happened and the band seemed to be doing the same. Without even looking back at the stage, I could tell by the corner of my he was still staring at me. It rose up the hairs on body, a bit of panic even as to what to do next. Shrugging the interaction away for now, I quickly give him a smile of congratulations and excused myself to step out of the frat house. My feet moved on their own, rapidly shuffling their way to get some fresh air before all the oxygen in me was squeezed out from the jam packed people, AND how clueless I was on how to respond to what had just occurred. I looked back at my drink again, rolling my eyes and pouring its remains onto the grass. "Looks like it was a waste after all." I mumbled to myself, regaining my composure and deciding it was best to leave now. What was I thinking..that guy, interested in me? He was probably staring at the other chicks behind me, PROBABLY has his hands all over them this very instance, ruining his throat with that crappy liquor. "Wait!" called out a familiar voice. Hold on..Deku? Ah shit who would've thought. I lifted my shoulders, slowly turning out with a nervous grin that was plainly obvious. He made his way down the stairs and placed his hands on my stiffened shoulders, causing me to flinch slightly. "Sorry for that, hey.. what's your name?" He said that last word in a slur, my mind already coming up with conclusions: he was drunk. "Y/N." I said back, fighting all means to not just roll in a ball and hide away. "Y/N..cute name for a cute human. Why don't you stay back for a bit I wanna talk to you." Despite my stomach turning into knots, something in me convinced me to go through with that. Maybe it was the fact I probably wouldn't get the chance to do something like this again. Maybe it was the fact no one's ever tried doing this with me before. MAYBE it's because it's him, and him only was enough to have my mind and body racing with fantasies that no stranger could ever do. Maybe...
