The next morning when Kelsey awoke to Ginny shaking her shoulder gently, she decided to go and see Dumbledore and find out some more information and maybe even get some advice off the cryptic man. On her way she bumped into Harry, who looked particularly pale and confused, it appeared that he hadn't slept well last night, not like he did anyway. He gave Kelsey a wary look before turning around and walking in the opposite direction. "Rude." Kelsey thought, before trying to find her way to Dumbledore's office.
Looking around the castle as she admired its interior, saying numerous "Hello"'s and "Good morning"'s to the portraits Kelesy suddenly felt a rush of saudade overcome her but she couldn't place why. As she was pondering on her strange feelings she bumped into someone, she huffed in annoyance as that's all she seemed to be doing as of late only to make eye contact with pained eyes that soon turned hard. "You know I'd prefer it if you wouldn't touch me you filthy Gryffindor, wouldn't want to catch any germs off you." Draco sneered seeming to be in a particular sour mood, Kelsey simply smirked at him before learning forward slightly and slowly fixing Draco's tie for him before pulling him down and close to her face with it, "Now, now Draco that's not how we greet people in the mornings is it?" She said seductively as she slowly smoothed his tie down and ran her hand gently down his chest slightly, enjoying the feeling of him shiver at the touch. "So responsive." She thought before fully pulling away from him with a raised eyebrow and folded arms as a light blush made its way on to Draco's face.
Draco huffed in annoyance running a hand through his blonde hair, looking at Kelsey with an unreadable expression on his face. "Come on then," he said holding out his hand for her to take, she gave him a confused look but took his hand anyway, it was warm against hers and slightly rough. "I'm guessing that your trying to make your way to the Great Hall for breakfast right?" Draco asked, clearing Kelsey's earlier confusion as she hummed in response letting Draco take the lead as she looked around trying to remember the layout of the building. His bipolar attitude giving her slight whiplash, she put it down too that maybe he didn't fully recognise her when he initially bumped into her.
They walked in a comfortable silence, Kelsey sometimes swinging their connected hands as they did causing Draco's lips to twitch in what seemed to be a ghost of a smile. As they entered the Great Hall all movement seemed to stop and stare at the pair, just as Kelsey was about to ask Draco what they were starring at, he suddenly let go of her hand and was about to walk over to his table when Professor Snape appeared in front of the two causing Kelsey to jump slightly. Draco immediately took note of this and stood slightly in front of her, in a almost protective way, Snape seeming to have noticed this as well as he raised an eyebrow at the boy who simply stared him down, coldly.
"And where have you two been?" Snape asked in that slow nasally voice of his, Draco was about to answer but Kelsey beat him to it. "I was lost and bumped into Draco on his way here and he was kind enough to show me the way." "Was he now?" Snape replied indifferently, raising an eyebrow at Draco again as it seemed the two were having a private conversation between them, Draco nodded backing up Kelsey's story as Snape tsked and walked away slightly pushing past her making her grip on to Draco for support who glared at Snape in return whilst steading Kelsey. "Dick." Kelsey heard Draco mutter under his breathe causing her to silently chuckle.
Draco patted the top of her head affectionately as a form of saying thank you before heading off to his table as she went towards her's. Waiting for her was an extremely confused looking Neville, an angry Ron, a worried Hermione and a very bored Ginny, Harry hadn't even bothered to look up from his breakfast. "Morning guys!" Kelsey said cheerfully, earning quiet responses from Neville and Hermione whereas Ron jumped straight into questioning her, "What the bloody hell were you doing with Malfoy?" Sneering slightly at Malfoy like as if it caused a horrible taste in his mouth. Kelsey sighed, knowing that this was going to happen before looking at Ron, "Like I said to Snape," she started, "I got lost and bumped into Draco on the way here and he kindly showed me the correct way." "Whilst holding hands?" Ron said, his voice a little high pitch and accusing. Kelsey simply shrugged looking at Hermione with pleading eyes, she quickly caught on and tried to distract Ron who was glaring and Draco and giving Kelsey suspicious looks.
She then turned her attention to the dark haired boy next to her who hadn't spoken a single word to her since yesterday. "Hey Harry," she began worry biting into her tone even though she tried to keep it light and cheerful, the brooding boy finally looked her way staring her down, "are you okay? Have I done something wrong? You seem mad?" She finished tilting her head slightly, confused as to why she had made her new friend possibly angry at her. Harry fumbled over his words awkwardly, stuttering out a reply, "W-what? N-no of course not!" "Then why haven't you spoken a word to me since yesterday and this morning you completely blanked me!" Kelsey said exasperated, Harry looked at her with kind eyes showing signs of grief and distress making Kelsey think about everything he's been through, what's he's going to go through. Without thinking she wrapped her arms around the boy for a well needed hug and whispered, "Everything's going to be okay." Words which Harry hadn't realised he needed to hear as tears stung at his eyes as he buried his face further into Kelsey's shoulder as she held him tighter.
The embrace lasted only a few minutes before the two broke away and saw their friends giving them strange looks. The pair merely shrugged as they looked at the time and realised it was time for them to go. Hermione stood first, instructing everyone to get to class on time as the rest of the group followed closely behind her, Harry and Kelsey stayed slightly behind. When they were far enough out of ear-shot, Harry quickly grabbed Kelsey's arm and dragged her into an empty class room.
"What on earth are you doing?" Kelsey asked, confusion lacing her tone as she stared at a nervous Harry. He rubbed his hands together before clearing his throat as he looked her dead in the eye saying, "I saw you last night." Kelsey's confusion grew as she couldn't figure out what he was getting at, Harry quickly noticed this and corrected himself. "What I mean, is that I saw you in my sleep last night." This caused Kelsey to giggle, "fantasying about me already Potter? Oh, do behave!" She said playfully but the serious look on Harry's face quickly made her sober up. "You mean in one of your visions don't you?" Kelsey questioned solemnly as Harry nodded, slowly.
"I saw you helping us," he said, his voice shaking slightly like as if the whole thing unnerved him in a way, "I saw you helping us and I saw you helping Malfoy." "Helping Draco? How?" Kelsey asked, already feeling creeped out, "As in turning him to our side, getting him to help us." Harry said, slight panic slipping into his tone as he said, "I saw you trying to save Sirius." A lone tear slipped down his face as he went to say, "Now I know that you don't know who he is but-" "But I do know who is he though, and you know that I do." Kelsey whispered to him, interrupting him mid sentence. Harry starred at the floor for a long time before looking back up at her. "I feel like as if you're here for a reason." "Me too, Harry. Me too."
An unspoken agreement settled over the two, as they agreed not to tell the others about Harry's vision. Kelsey didn't explain how she knew Sirius or who she was, Harry seemed to notice this and didn't push her on it. He knew that some things were better left unspoken, he did feel however that he had gained a loyal friend and ally for life.
