12 : The Story Of The Untold
"I can't wait for the picnic party!" Lacerta said. Her friend, Pegasus giggled.
"Me too!"
"Can't you two shut up already?" Pavo shouted from behind them "It will be nicer if you shut your mouth and help me carry this!" he pointed angrily at the picnic basket in his hold.
I nervously chuckled "But why tho do we need TWO?" I asked, looking at the another picnic basket that Hercules carried.
"Because Pega is a big eater," Monocenas snorted at her sister, Pegasus. Pegasus spun around and gasped dramatically at her.
"How could you said that about me, sister?!" she faked cried, we all knew.
Monocenas growled "Shut up, Pega."
"No sorry, Mono."
I sighed, ignoring those two sisters bickering. Lacerta looked away from her friend and decided to helped me carried the blanket I brought. I gave her a thankful smile and she replied back with a closed eyes smile.
For some reason I think I saw a tint of blush on her cheeks.
Eh, must be my imagination.
We walked toward the Fresh Night Hills, where that were our favourite spot to hang out since last year. At first only Delphinus and Draco knew about this nice spot, then we (me and Hercules) became great friends with them, they told us about this place. Then it spread from us four to us twelves. How funny, our classmates knew about this but none from the other classes knew.
It was like a secret just us classmates knew.
I like it. It felt like, a connection.
Damn, I wished things will never change. But we all know it was just a dream. We have to accept the reality.
Fresh Night Hills were name given by Delphinus and Draco. It was actually belong to some rich guys but they never cared about this place. There were never security guards roaming around here, so it became a nice spot for hang out.
Reached out hang out spot, Lacerta and I laid out the huge thin blanket to the ground. Pavo and Hercules put the picnic baskets near each other. Pegasus and Monocenas started to places out the prepared food they made for everyone including themselves. Lynx already sat under the big ol' tree nearby. He would sat there every time we came here and write something on his notebook. He told me once he wanted to became a writer.
Talking about Lynx, this may be a good chance to make him and Hercules have a good relationship. I turned around to Monocenas and tapped her shoulder. She looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Need anything, Ophi?"
I secretly pointed at Lynx, then gave an eye signal toward Hercules's direction. She instantly knew what I meant, I mean, both of us hated seeing them two hated each other. This was our last year in high school, I wanted everyone to have a great year as much as possible.
Monocenas walked toward Hercules, who were talking to Delphinus about something. She slung her arm around his neck and walked back to me.
"What the heck, Mono?!" he screamed, trying to freed himself. Sadly Monocenas have a very strong muscle. I'm serious.
"Hercules, my brother who are not blood related," I said, placing my hand on my chest. He perked an eyebrow at me.
"Whatever you plan, I'm not into it.".
I stared at him, huffing "I've helped you with homework."
".... Fair point but still."
"Oh come on, Hercules!" Monocenas tightened her grip on his neck "This is for everyone own good. You will be glad with it in the end, my man but not my man," she grinned, showing off her scary vibes.
He looked at her with this kind of skeptical look, but gave in eventually.
"Fine," he let out a sighed "Tell me what to do."
Monocenas and I shared the same grin. We pulled him a bit closer to us and I whispered the idea into his ear. His eyes shot opened and he pushed us away from him.
"NO NO NO NO!" he flawed his hands "I AM NOT GONNA BE FRIEND WITH THAT FREAK!" he shouted, pointed his index finger at Lynx's direction.
We then realized Hercules just shouted too, too loud. All attention went to us, mostly Hercules.
"Hercules!" both me and Monocenas shouted at him.
"What?!"
Before we knew it, a book was thrown right onto his head. The boy groaned and looked at the direction where it was thrown, only to surprised seeing a teary Lynx. Well, I too kinda shocked.
The loner boy stood up from his spot and ran away from us. Hydrus and Corvus shouted his name, but he didn't bother to turn around.
Dammit. I felt guilty. I should talk this with Hercules back at home.
Corvus glared at Hercules, who looked guilty as well. He stormed toward us and without warning punched him right on the face, earning shock looks from the others.
"Look at what you've done, jackass!" he screamed.
Hercules flinched, bit his lips while holding his now bruised cheek. I quickly stepped in between them, avoiding any more chances of attacks.
"It was my fault, Corvus!" I apologized "I shouldn't just said it! I should discuss it with Hercules back at home..."
Corvus shook his head "It wasn't your fault, Ophiuchus. This jackass is! He should be at least not shouting! He break Lynx's heart!"
I glanced back at my childhood friend. He seems hesitated. He was about to say something when we heard Lacerta's screaming.
"WHAT THE #### IS THAT?!!"
We snapped our heads at her, I saw her face stared at the sky, which made me stared at it too. Too my surprised, I saw a meteorite.
A ######## meteorite.
Wow.
Are we gonna end up like dinasour?
