    I stood behind stage just listening to the last singer before I went on stage closing our school's talent show and seeing who wins and gets the grand prize of a full ride scholarship to any school in the United States.

     I looked at other peformer's some who were being nice which was very few and the rest laughing at me as I stood there with a long black coat on hiding myself from them as they laughed and talked behind my back loud enough so I could hear every insult.

   Just ignore them Becca they don't know you and never will just go on stage and wow the crowd

    I took a deep breath as Valerie Smith my complete and utter enemy finished her nauseating song about how she's so much better then everyone and took her last bow on stage and walked backstage. She entered and looked at me and gave me her usual eye roll and disgusted look as she spoke.

   "Break a leg out there, literally"

     I ignored her words as she strolled on past me and I heard her friends laugh as I listened on stage.

   "Now lady's and gentlemen for our last singer of the night and singing her own original song, give it up for Becca Renee."

     I started walking out as I heard all of my friends screaming out cheers for me and walking out on stage I saw them in the front row. It was just like them to support me through thin and through thick as the saying goes. 

     I stopped in the middle of the stage and took the mic from are history teacher  Mr. Dutton who was being are host wearing a fancy tux.

     Closing my eyes I took a deep breath to calm my nerves and looked out at everyone as the beat started.

   "Where are the people that accused me" I heard the cheers coming as I carried my voice out.

   "The one's that beat me down and bruised me, they hide just out of sight" I walked towards the edge as I lifted my right hand over my eyes gesturing to them hiding out of sight.

   "Can't face me in the light" I pointed up as I then reached to my jacket as I unbuttoned it slowly still smiling and singing.

   "They'll return but i'll be stronger" I through my jacket open revealing my neon green tank top with the words unbreakable plastered on in bold black as I tossed my jacket to my friends. my skinny jeans were now shown along with my knee high neon green converse with black laces.

   "God I want to dream again take me where I've never been, I want to go there this time I'm not scared" I pulled my blue-black hair out of it's bun as I shook my curls out letting all my long hair fall around my chest and back.

   "Now I am unbreakable it's unmistakable, no one can touch me nothing can stop me" I heard all the shocks and cheers now that I was really getting into it.

   "Sometimes it's hard to just keep going but faith is moving without knowing" I strutted over to the left of the stage as the people in the front reached out there hands for me to high five. As I walked by I slapped each hand and skipped on my next fast note.

   "Can I trust what I can't see to reach my destiny, I want to take control but I know better" I smiled over at my friends as I got back to the middle of the stage and went back into the chorus.
