Scenario one, Medieval times -

It was time you had finally gotten to the age where your parents had thought you were more than ready for a suitor. They never mentioned this to you, though it didn't surprise you. Lots of your friends had already been married off and now it was just your turn. You were waiting for them and their family to come, you heard the door open and there he was, your suitor, crush.

Scenario two, Modern day - 

You were in high school, well soon enough you would graduate you had a month before then and it was all chaos. Just add to that your parents told you that you'd be getting an arranged marriage. You had plans and with that person, they could either stay alive or fall apart
