Tired amber eyes flickered open, taking in the sight of the ceiling fan and sunlight that reflected off. The faint sound of chirping birds filled the silent room. The being sits up in his place, hand rubbing the back of his neck - slow, deep breaths filling his body -- the cold air stinging his lungs. After a few moments of silence, the male brings himself to get out of bed, carrying himself to the closet across the room. The male searches through his organized closet in hopes to find an outfit that he would enjoy wearing. Shortly after undressing himself, he finds himself in a white turtleneck, black jeans, and a checkered burberry coat -- small chained necklaces wrapping around his neck and a watch that ticked for every silent second.
"Katsuki!" the faint voice enters his ears, immediately recognizing it. It was Eijirou, Katsukis best friend. Katsuki rushes down the stairs of his apartment, meeting face to face with the faux redhead. "How the hell did you manage to get inside of my apartment?" Katsuki barks, a strand of ash blond hair falling down onto his face. "I was just wondering if you would go on a little stroll with me.. Like old times, y'know?" Katsuki felt a sort of sympathy towards his best friend, so how could he turn him down? "Fine, whatever." The blond gives the other male the response he yearned for. Katsuki slides his shoes on. After both males exit the house, Katsuki makes sure he locks the front door.
Only the crunching of leaves and chirping of birds could be heard when walking down the empty sidewalk that was once covered in chalk, ash, and old memories. Katsukis' mind wandered elsewhere, not focusing on where he was walking nor on the redhead that hummed a sweet, low song. Ei went silent after a moment of awkwardly humming. "I'm just gonna say what we are both thinking. Soulmates. I got my mark. Did you, Bakugou?" "No. I haven't -- And frankly, I don't really care." Eijirou had the look of disapointment, as if he had just been turned down by his celeb crush. "But uhm.. who is your soulmate, Ei?" "no no no, katsuki. I'll tell you once you get yours. It'll be a few days.. so just be patient." A faint smile formed on Eijirous face. Katsuki glanced over at the other male, his gaze focused on Kirishimas smile, and how one sharp tooth overlapped his bottom lip. Oh how he loved that goofy, pure smile...
The crisp wind blew long red hair back, causing it to flow so softly in the breeze. Katsuki couldn't help but stare. He was captivated.. eyes fixated on the other males beauty. What was this feeling? Stopping in his tracks, he put his hands in his pockets, watching the clueless red walk further down the sidewalk. "D'you plan on ditchin' me?" He shouted. Ei stooped in his tracks, his head turning to the side a bit; he smiled.. just enough for you to see his sharp teeth practically glistening in the sun.
"fuck, if angels aren't real, then what are you.. Ei."
