George stretched out his arms waking up from his long slumber though, it wasn't very long due to him and nightmare staying up until 4:00 in the morning because like usual, they talked about all the pretty girls in the town.. though it was mostly just Nightmare taking about them because George wasn't aloud unless it was important business.

George put his clout goggles on, slipped his slippers on, put his red cape on, and dallied out of his room, holding his cape on because he was too tired to do up the little chain that held it together, preventing it from sliding off his thin body.

Well George dragged his feet to the dining hall he wondered where nightmare had gone, it seemed nightmare would go somewhere every night once George was tired enough to not remember barely anything that they were talking about, maybe he sleeps on the bushes..

George basically collapsed into his chair across from his mother and father who seemed to be ignoring him and talking about something probably to due with the recent attack on the kingdom by the Soot kingdom, this attack had killed a lot of the royal guards that protected the inside of the mushroom kingdom, everyone had to admit that the Soot kingdoms warriors were skilled with their level of training... or their just good compared to the mushroom Kingdoms defence.

The small war between the mushroom kingdom and the Soot kingdom had originated from an accidental attack on them, George's fathers fault of course, though he wouldn't admit it was an accident so that's what had broken out the war. The attack was originally on a far off rising bandit colony, how could someone make that much of a mistake though, a kingdom and a colony of bandits?..

George started tapping his foot, obviously zoned out and not realizing his parents were both looking at him expediently as if he was currently doing something wrong or childish...
.
.
"George?." His mother called looking bath at George's father for reassurance for some reason.
.
"Yes mum? Is breakfast ready?" George replied straightening his posture obviously hungry.
"Almost. But George honey, we've been thinking of taking you somewhere.. safer so we can get this war taken care of as quickly as possible."
.
.
.
"What? Where would I go? Who would come with me? Can nightmare come? Wh-"
"George." His mum interrupted his slightly panicked voice. "Though we regret this decision we think it would be best for your... safety, Your going to stay with the bandits, they promised to take care of you as long as we hand over some gold and promise not to attack them." His mum seemed choked up, it was obvious they didn't want to put George there but..

"Do you really care about the kingdom and who runs it more then me? Your son mum? It's obvious you or dad just want me to stay alive so i can eventually rule over the kingdom and keep our family legacy going." George was fuelled with anger, feeling as if this deal was one sided and George would end being held ransom by those bandits or something..

"George, we wouldn't of made this decision other wise.."//"Dad. Your so desperate to keep your family legacy going that you'd rather risk my life and give me to bandits then let me stay where I've lived all my life?" Everyone went silent, breakfast had been served well George's outburst but none of them felt hungry anymore, George stared at his food then suddenly got up and flounced away.

Meanwhile Nightmare was brushing his hair, trying to look smooth.. jazzy.. punk.. he's trying to look good? He put the brush down and slipped his black and orange mask on, commenting on how good he looked to himself, he grabbed his sword and cross-bow then made way to the exit of his house.. he stopped looking down at a messily scribbled note that looked like it was supposed to be thrown in the garbage.

Nightmare examined it quickly, decided he couldn't read and that George was more important in the matter of trying to read or seeing a friend, and threw it into the trash bin well travelling out the door.

Meanwhile George curled into a ball behind his bed where no one would be able to see him unless someone somehow managed to get up to and through his windows.. All George could think of was his old friend Dream, Dream was excellent, perfect in every way.. if George dare say Dream was better then Nightmare. Dream would actually listen to the words you were saying well Nightmare.. he mostly liked listening to only what he, himself had to say.

There was a sudden burst through George's door that continued with a high pitched "OHHH GEORGEEE??" Nightmare. George quickly wiped away his tears trying to make it the least obvious he was crying and slowly peeked over his bed to look at Nightmare.
.
"Good morning Nightmare." George said calmly, his breath slightly shaky.

"Morning Goergie. How ya doin?"
.
.
"Just fine."
