Your Mum was bustling around the house, fussing on Harry as she packed his bag. Since you were hardly two, you didn't understand why. You sat in the crib, looking curiously at your Mum. Just then, your Dad brought Harry down the stairs, wearing a new uniform and all.

"Mum, I don't want to go to school." Harry snifled, resuming his sobbing from earlier.

"Darling, it's going to be fun!" Your Mum cooed to Harry. "You'll make new friends..." She trailed off, going back to packing Harry's little backpack. Soon enough, you were fed breakfast while Harry stared glumly at his cereal and you guys were off to the School.

You and Harry sat in the backseat, you buckled in the baby seat, him next to you, staring out the window the whole way.

You didn't like this silent and brooding Harry. You preferred the flamboyant boy who would do something really silly, causing you to laugh. You reach out hesitantly and tugged at his crisply ironed shirt. He turns towards you with a tear rolling down his cheek.

"A-ree" you call out, trying to reach for his cheek. He smiles weekly, turning back to stare out the window once more. The rest of the trip continues like this.

Not long after, you arrive at the school. Your Mum parks the car, gets out, unbuckles you from your seat and then gets Harry out of the car.

"Now, Harry, be a nice little boy. I'll be back to pick you up before you know it." Your Mum presses a kiss to Harry's cheek. He bursts into tears, clutching at your Mum's arms desperately.

Finally, after lots of coaxing from your Mum, he calms down and walks towards the door, to his waiting teacher, but not before he has hugged you and kissed you goodbye.

It was like any other kid's first day at school. Except, now, you were wailing for your dear brother who was off making new friends.

You continued sobbing through the day, knowing you were not his only friend anymore.
