Chapter 3

(Reader's P.O.V)

I looked at the cats before saying "Sean can you take Mike to the training ground to help him train  his powers a bit more." An explosion happened and Gun fire could be heard from the outside and i looked at Phantom as he went and picked me up to  bring to safety and i saw the cats following at this point i was scared. Since i was a someone other people want to kill since i was popular among other people, that and anyone would pay a large amount of money to kill me. Since i owned a lot of company's that and i have a lot of people who hate me. I sighed before letting Phantom lock me and the cats in the study to keep me safe. I sat down at the desk opening something. I peeked though the window. I was surprised by what i saw and i backed away from the window. I sat down against a bookshelf and i saw The cats coming over to me and i smiled as i petted them calming down. I smiled before saying "I just wished that you guys were able to talk so then i could understand you.." I smiled before Putting Archie in my lap and i hugged him smiling. Cream got up onto my lap and he licked my cheek. I giggled a little bit and i petted him. I smiled before saying "You all know how to cheer me up." I stood up and i walked over to my desk and i sat down. I saw the cats sit down on top of the desk. Cream went and sat next to me on the desk. Archie sat down in my lap and i smiled happily. I then started to work on the paperwork i need to fill out for the company's i own. I sigh before hearing knocks I put Archie on the desk as i got up a little panicked and i said "Never one." and a voice said "With the other." And another voice said "never one." I calmed down and i said "Without each other. I come in Phantom and Lucas." I looked at them as they looked happy that i was safe. I looked a little mad before i said "Is the threat gone?" Phantom nodded his head. I sighed before sitting back down. I was thinking before i saw Mike at the doorway and i stood up before saying "Hello there mike what do you need?" Mike sighed before saying "Well lets just say there's a letter for you." I sighed before going over to him and i took it from him and i said "Thank you mike you can go and do your duties unless you have something else to say." Mike shook his head before leaving. I sat down and i saw the cats curious about the letter and i smiled before opening it and i dear the first words and i went and said "Well then this is new the queen wants me to host a ball for her so then she can let her butler meet me." I sighed before saying "Oh great i wonder Grim reaper or another angel." I sighed before saying "Phantom, Lucas come here." Phantom and Lucas came to me and they both say "Yes my lady?" I went and said "Get the Manor prepared for a ball. Our main guest of honor is the queen so make sure everything is prefect." Phantom nodded before saying "I'll get onto it my lady." I smiled as Phantom left to do that. I looked at Lucas and i said "I am trusting you to make sure the servants do their jobs perfectly and is anything is messed up fix it please Lucas." Lucas nodded before saying "Ok my lady." and he left to do what he was told to do. I sighed as i sat down and i looked at Archie, Raven, Cream, And Lucifer as i saw they were looking at the letter i smiled as i went back to my desk and i sat back down. I went and petted Cream and i smiled when he purred at my touch. I picked up the note and i smiled before saying "Do you want to know what the letter says huh?" Archie ,Cream, Raven, Lucifer, and William all meowed as if to say yes. I smiled before reading what the letter said. "Dear Y/N M/N L/N Since you are what i call my Tiger Guard and my best one at that i want you to host a ball in my Honor in order to see if the murder that kills only at party's and balls will strike here, That and i want you to meet my Butler. I want you and your butlers to help with this case when i arrive i will come early i will ask my butler to give you the info of the murder that we have From the queen of London." I saw Archie's confused look i went and i smiled before getting up and looking out the window. I smiled as i saw Lucas helping some of the servant's. I smiled before hearing Phantom behind me. I sighed and said "Phantom what are you doing?" Phantom paused before saying "I forgot that somehow you can tell who is behind you." I turned around and said "How its cause you only do and if someone else than you tried to do that you would go and kill them." Phantom went and said "Yea that's true." I sighed before saying "What do you need?" Phantom bowed before saying "I just wanted to say the queen has arrived." I smiled before saying "That's great, Tell her i'll be down once i get something done." Phantom nodded his head before saying "Ok i will do that." Once Phantom left i went and put on a striped vest that was orange with black stripes. I looked at the cats before saying "If you want you can come." I walked out of my Study and i heard the cats following. I went and got onto the railing and i slid down the railing, when i got to the end i jumped over it landing on my feet and i smiled before standing up and i bowed "My queen sorry for the slight delay." The queen smiled before saying "Its ok and your skill and balance is the reason why your my Tiger, Anyway met my Butler his name is Ash." I smiled as Ash bowed and said "I'm happy to meet you Y/N." I went and said "Its nice to met you to."  I was smiling happily as Ash stood back up. Phantom and Lucas looked mad so what. The queen spotted my cats and she went and said "Aw you never told me that you take care of cats." I smiled before saying "Well i never found the time to tell you."
