"Seotang time to wake up for school!" I wake up to the sound of my father's voice calling me.

"Good morning appa (dad)." I greeted before yawning.

"How was your sleep? You're mother said you went home late last night." Father asked when he opened my bedroom door.

"Ah ne appa (yes dad), our music department had an emergency meeting last night after my Taekwondo session. I had to be there since we will have our recital next week. I slept well... I was too exhausted to do anything else and went straight to bed." I answered while fixing my bed. 

"Ommarang bollso jumusineun jul arassoyo? ([pronounced the "b" in "bollso" as "p"]) Jega Oje ommareul kkaewonnayo? Jega gaso sagwahalkkeyo (I thought you and mommy were already sleeping? Did I wake her up last night? I will go and apologize)- " I said panicking and about to leave the room.

"Seotang... jinjonghaeyo (calm down). Father said gently grabbing my arm to stop me. "You didn't wake up your mother. She was up until passed her bed time waiting for you to go home. We both know your mother, she won't be able to fall asleep when she knows none of us are home yet." Father explained.

I sighed. "I did tell her that I was going to be home late and that she doesn't have to wait for me, so that she can rest. Mianhae-yo appa (I am sorry dad)." I said sadly.

"Gwanchanh-ayo (it's alright) Seotang. Worrying about you and Ye Jin is part of our jobs as your parents. That is one of the ways we show you we care and love you." Father said before kissing my temple. I sigh in relief.

"I love you guys too." I said hugging him.

"Alright, I'll eat breakfast with your mother before I go to my meeting. Ye Jin doesn't have to be up until later, you can wake her up after you get dress for school." Father said walking with me in the hallway.

"Al-ass-eo appa ([pronounced the second letter as "r"] okay dad)." I replied.

[knock knock knock]

"Ye Jin~ time to wake up~" I said gently opening my little sister's bedroom door.

"Hmm... good morning unnie (big sister)~ did you sleep well?" Ye Jin asked with her morning voice.

"Oh~ it looks like you slept well too." I said as I admire my little sister.

"Are you going to uni already?" Ye Jin asked looking at me.

"Ajik, naneun norang achimbuto mokkko siposso (not yet, I wanted to eat breakfast with you first) before I go." I said cherishing my sister's cheek. Ye Jin smiled before getting out of the bed.

"Yeogi isseora (stay here) and wait for me, I'll just wash up and brush my teeth!" Ye Jin said excitedly. "I can take a bath after we eat breakfast together"

"Geunyoneun wae aegyoreul burinayo (why is being cute)?" I thought to myself as I wait for my little sister.

"Did you had a good dream? It's my first time to see you in a good mood so early in the morning Ye Jin-ah~" Our mother said.

"Aniyo (no)~ I am just happy to eat breakfast with Su Jin unnie (big sister)... it's been a while." Ye Jin said before smiling at me. 

"I miss eating breakfast with you too Ye Jin-ah." I said.
