*The translation for the song, Richard sings the chorus

———

Leigh-Anne

Richard and I are now laid up in bed, his head on my lap as we watched TV together. I wasn't paying attention. What happened earlier stayed on my mind since dinner up until now.

Perrie and Tom left a little after dinner when the boy started getting sleepy. Afterwards, we gave the boys a bath and put them to bed. It was currently a quarter 'til 10.

"Lee-Lee?" I'm snapped from my thoughts and I look down at him. "Yes, babe?" He sits up then turns his body to look at me better. "I'm gonna make it up to you," he promises. "Richie," I start tiredly.

"I'm serious. I'm gonna. I dunno how, but I will," he says while looking me in the eyes. "It's okay. You don't have to," I say and he looks at me as if I've lost my mind.

"I'll be damned." I sigh, "Richard, please. I really don't wanna talk about it."

"Well, we can't pretend it didn't happen," he tries to reason. I roll my eyes, "Who says we're pretending? I know that it happened. You told me. I know. And you're sorry. I know that, too. But please, please shut up about it."

He falls quiet for a while, staring at me while chewing on his bottom lip. "Can I kiss you?" He asked like he did the first time we kissed. It made me smile a bit and I nod. He leans in slowly then gives me a sweet smooch, cupping my face in the process.

Not that he tries, but it's hard to stay mad at him. He's a great guy that made a heartbreaking decision. He was man enough to confess, which I respect. Honestly, if I had to find out, I would've kicked his ass to the curb and he'd only see the boys on weekends, holidays, and their birthday.

But I really don't want that for our children.

I put my hands at the back of his neck as we deepen it. Electricity surges through me like that day, the day I realized I loved him. But this one makes me love him harder.

When we break apart, he smiles at me cutely. "I really like you, Leigh-Anne. W-Would you go out with me?" He says in a higher pitched voice and I giggle.

"I'd love to go out with you, Richard," I say, taking his face in my hands and bringing our lips back together for a little longer. When we pull away once again, I see the unconditional love in his eyes.

He then starts vocalizing before singing in Spanish.

"'Yo quiero tenerte a mi lao'. Ven pa' que bailemos pegao'. Me muero por verte. Dime qué hago pa' tenerte, lady. Tú me tienes enamorao'. Ven pa' que bailemos pegao'. Me muero por verte. Dime qué hago pa' tenerte... ah, shit, I can't remember the rest," he chuckles.

God, I could never get over how beautiful his voice is.

I giggle and kiss him again. "The fact you remembered some of it is enough for me. Still can't believe you sung that in front of the whole school. And called me out."

"Well, I wanted to let them know that I love you and you're my baby," he says with that smile and I blush. "I love it when you do that," I say.

"Do what?" I don't answer, just stare into his soft, brown eyes. "I'm sorry for ever questioning your love for me. I never told you that," I admit after we admire each other in silence.

"It's okay, really. I, uh, already forgave you for that," he says, and I know what's on his mind. Though, neither of us say anything about it.

"Hey, Leigh?"
