𝐉𝐀𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐈 "𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓" 𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐄

"I don't know how to make her stop crying" 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓 said on the phone with his mother.

When Saint eventually came out to his family and friends about the baby they all came together and settled their differences to take care of the new baby girl.

"It's okay she's just hungry get the bottle out of the bottle warmer, shake it up, and give it to her" She instructed.

He did as he was told and the baby immediately stopped crying making him sigh in relief.

The past few weeks have been really rough for him but, he's still grateful for the people around him because he knew nothing about babies.

"Now i'm about to head to the store, the baby is probably gonna poop in a while so watch out for that" She said.

He nodded. "Okay, love you"

"Love you too" She said hanging up.

He put his phone down and carefully picked up the baby rocking her from side to side. As he was rocking her he couldn't help but notice how much she resembled him.

She had big brown eyes with pouted shaped lips and bright red hair that his grandmother had.

Her eyes slowly started to close meaning that she was finally going to sleep. He walked upstairs and put her in her crib.

He was so ready to sleep since he hadn't gotten any sleep all night due to the baby's constant crying.

As soon as he hit the bed his phone began vibrating which made him flinch. He had been scared of phone calls since the incident.

He looked at the number and it was only his girlfriend who had been away in Chicago to visit some family.

"Hey i'm on the way back now is Solona okay?" Fern asked referring to the baby.

Even though Fern wasn't the baby's mother that didn't stop her from caring for the baby. She knew how it felt not having a mom around and she didn't want that for the baby.

"Yeah she's fine but i'm just scared of being a father, I don't know if I can do this" He admitted rubbing his head.

"Saint it doesn't matter if your ready or not you have to be there for the baby, her mother is gone and you have to step up to the plate and be the father" She explained.

"I don't know Fern and she's deaf and I don't know how to do sign language so how will I be a good father" Saint recently took Solona to the doctor because she never reacted to loud noises and they told him she was deaf in one ear.

"It's okay Saint my cousin is deaf so I can teach you sign language don't worry about it but, you can't give up now the journey has just started" She said trying to calm him down.

"Okay maybe i'm stressing too much, just call me when you get here, love you" He said.

"Love you too and i'm about an hour away so don't trip" She said hanging up.

"Okay so at the end of her 5 month period she will be given a hearing aid to ensure her hearing and speech" Mrs.Martinez, Solona's doctor explained as Saint and Fern sat in her office.

"And I recommend you apply for food stamps and WIC because when you don't plan for a baby they can be very expensive" She advised, making both parents nod their heads in agreement.

"Now if you don't have anymore questions you may leave, you both have a good day" The doctor said picking up a folder and leaving the room.

"So where we finna go now?" Saint asked

"First we needa go to Carter's because she needs some new clothes then let's get some zaxby's cuz a bitch is hungry" She said getting up.
