"Lisa, how are you?"
Lisa circles him with her drink in hand while studying him head to toe. She stops right in front of him looking him in the eyes. "So, why haven't you called?" She eyes him down waiting for a response. He grabs another glass from a tray passing by and takes a sip. "I've been busy" He says with the least amount of interest in his voice.
Visually upset she finishes her drink in one gulp waiting on Hoseok to look at her in the eyes just once as she continues to stand in front of him. "Did I do something wrong? I thought we had a great time the other night and thought you wanted more." Clearly feeling the wine kicking in she slowly slides her hand down Hoseok's chest over his shirt and he instantly stops her and gives her a sharp cold look.
"Ms. Manoban this is highly inappropriate and if I were you I would get your act together. What happened with us was a one time thing and won't happen again...know your place." Hoseok walks away leaving Lisa stuck in embarrassment in front of co workers. Having one night with Hoseok had given Lisa hope that something beautiful would flourish between them, but it ended up being a false reality. Hoseok had secrets but he only shared those secrets with woman he felt were worthy enough..and Lisa wasn't worthy of those adventures in his eyes.
After dismissing himself he walks over to Noel to introduce himself as she sits at a table making a call. "Hey Mark, it's me again. I know you must be busy working but I wanted to let you know that I got the job at Jung Industries. Well, give me a call when you can ok. I Love You." She sighs with disappointment from another failed attempt to speak to her fiancé and continues to sit alone flooded with thoughts until she is interrupted by a presence that sits next to her. "Why so sad at such a beautiful brunch?"
"Who said I was sad?...and why are you so concerned with my fee-." Thats when she looked up at him. Frozen in time her eyes examined every feature she could at that moment. His dark hair, mysterious dark eyes, his beautiful bright smile, his strong demeanor, he was captivating from head to toe even while sitting and she didnt even know she spaced out while he explained his actions. "Hey, are you ok?" She blinks her eyes breaking her trance "uh-..ye-ah I'm ok..I'm sorry I have to go" before he can say anything else she leaves the brunch to heads back home.
*Time Skip*
Walking up to the Jung Industries building she takes a deep breath before entering. "Noel! Happy first day!" She looks up to a beaming Jimin dressed in a beautiful fitting suit that highlighted his curves in the best way. Jimin might be short but his confidence and demeanor made him 6ft tall and that was one of his charms. "Hey Jimin" she gives him a big but nervous smile as the both walk to the elevator to the top floor. "You seem nervous" he looks at me with the same big smile which was surprisingly helping my nerves "I am alittle. It's nerve wrecking being this close to my dreams" he looks straight ahead as the elevator begins to open as she takes a nice deep breath. "Try not to stress yourself out. You will do great and will reach your goal in no time"
She nods in reassurance releasing all the worry she initially had as they walked to the two large black doors leading to CEO Jung's office. Once again she was frozen solid. "You?" She whispered to herself as she stared in the eyes of the man who she met yesterday. "Ms. Min, a pleasure to meet you again, Jimin here has told me all about you."
**Noel POV**
How did I not notice that was Mr. Jung yesterday. Honestly at this point I wanted to smack myself but there's no point. I'm already here mind as well face it. "It's a pleasure to see you again as well Mr. Jung" I shake his hand and I was instantly sucked in by his eyes...Those eyes and the way he looked at me with them made my body shiver in ways I didn't know was possible. His grip was strong but his hands were so smooth. I quickly released my hand clearing my throat as a weird sensation attempted to creep up on me.
"Well, I guess I'll leave you two to work. I'll see you later Noel" Jimin closed the door behind him and I was met with always silence as neither one of us moved from our spot or said anything. "So, what's the plan for today Mr. Jung" I decided to break the ice cause well, I didn't want to stand in the middle of his office all day staring at each other so someone had to do something at that moment. "Well, first I'll be showing you to your desk which is right over here" we walked over to the other side of his office where there was a nice sized desk with a purple Mac computer on it with a mouse and keyboard. I was pretty excited because New York could never be this luxurious to their employees, well not me atleast. "Since you are my assistant I need to keep you close for any emergencies that may show up."
He gives me a rundown of my duties as we paced around his huge office showing the most beautiful view of Seoul. We then walk over to the elevator and head down to the lunch area and he shows me where I will be picking up his coffee in the morning on my way up. Out of no where a woman comes and throws herself all over him. I'm not gonna lie, seeing how comfortable she was doing that to him made me feel weird and I have no idea why. "Hobii, there's a new restaurant that just opened downtown. Care to join me?"
Does this girl have any morals? I'm not sure if it's my breakfast I had this morning or the scene shes putting on in front of me that's making me sick. "I already told you I am not interested Ms. Manoban. Now if you would excuse us." I couldn't help but laugh internally at the way he shut her down...I mean the look on her face when he snatched her hands off of him. He turned to walk back to the elevator leaving me behind with an upset woman. "You aren't the first assistant and I'm sure you won't be the last" she looks at me with distaste as I am shocked at her words to me. I wasn't able to say anything before I was called by Mr Jung so we could head back upstairs and get started on my first day.
As soon as we got back up to the office calls came in left and right. Mr. Jung had a ton of conference calls and meetings today about the future of J.I and possibility of expanding globally. I walked back to my desk alongside Mr. Jung after our last meeting for the day when my phone buzzes. "Noel!, hey baby I've been meaning to get back to you but work has been so busy." It's my fiancé Mark and even though I might seem happy that he finally called me, I'm not and he's the reason why.
We got engaged right before I left for Seoul and the plan was to have him come down and move with me within the month. Long story short it's been 3 months and this is the 2nd time I have been able to hear his voice the whole time. "Mark, it's great to hear your voice but I'm working right now" trying to keep a whisper as best as I could I felt a presence that didn't seem to happy. I gulp hard and turn slowly in my seat looking right in the eyes of an angry Mr. Jung. "Personal calls aren't allowed during business hours Ms. Min" he raises an eye brow at me and once again I freeze under his stare. "R-ight...I'm sorry Mr. Jung." I hang up the phone with Mark having the worse feeling of loneliness linger all over my body. Honestly I couldn't wait for my shift to be over so I kept looking at the clock until it finally hit 4pm, finally I could go home.
"Ms. Min, do you have any plans for tonight?"
