I woke up in the middle of the night to my room glowing in different colors. Silver, Emerald green, red, pink, blue, and black. Different animals circled around my body, I held out my hands and let the birds land, they turned into notes. The last color was black, a snake circled around my neck and it too disappeared into a note, but instead of it being a tan, coffee worn note, it was black with white writing.
I looked at each one, the Malfoy Family and the other Families giving there thanks and wishing me a great harvest as well. The last note made me blink and re read it.
"You are one peculiar girl, Ms. Weasley. Have a wonderful Harvest. Yours, Hadrian and Lord Voldemort."
It wasn't malicious or evil, it felt nice. The magical residue from the notes made me feel something, I couldn't place my finger on it but the feeling was there. I gathered up the notes and placed them in a chest, I opened a floor board and put it under it. I couldn't let my mother find these, she'll have me grounded for life and tell Headmaster Dumbledore about it.
I got back on my bed and got comfortable, I couldn't wait for school to start.

In the late August, my brothers and I were packed and ready to go. Our trunks and our other trinkets with in a baggage moving cart, our mother making sure we had everything. We moved through the crowds of people, mom was shouting at us to hurry up, the train was gonna be leaving soon.
I wore a black turtle neck with an oversized tan cardigan, it almost went to my knees. I had a brown high waisted skirt, with the turtle neck tucked in. I had thick winter tights and my worn out ankle length gray converses. My hair was done up in two braids, a flower hair pin on the side of my braid.
We all walked through the portal to the Wizarding train station and got on the Train just in time. Our parents wishing me and Ron a great first year and to send them lots of letters on how it was going. I got into, luckily, an empty compartment. I placed my things above the seats where our things are supposed to go, I grabbed my book; Fantasy, Action are the ways to go, and sat on the seat next to the window.
It was quiet for a little bit, but right before the train started moving, the compartment door opened revealing a couple first years and some other years. When they saw that it was only me, they came in.
"Apologies, this is really the only compartment with room." I shrugged and went back to my book. "Are you a Weasley?" I nodded, to engrossed in my book to see who asked. "You know, it's rude of you for not paying attention." I sighed and closed my book after I place a bookmark. I finally looked at the people and registered there house colors. Slytherins.
"You have my attention." I said softly. The girl blinked and nodded.
"Why aren't you with your brothers?"
"It's rude to not introduce yourself before asking questions, you know." She froze before glaring at me a little.
"Pansy Parkinson."
"Iris Weasley." Some of the first years stopped and looked at me a little. "And I'm not with my brothers because they are to loud." I answered. She gave me a look over and sneered at my shoes.
"That's enough, Pansy." I looked over at the boy who said it. He had black hair, neatly pulled back into a bun. His eyes were a shining Emerald green, they looked like they glowed. His skin was a beautiful tan and he looked to be the leader of this little group. He had on a pure black suit with a dark green button up, his pants were comfortably tight on his legs, his shoes were a shining leather.
"I wasn't going to say anything!" She protested with a scowl. He gave her a smirk that told a different story. I shivered when I felt him let out a tiny bit of magic, it felt nice, calm even. Some of the others had reactions too, but none like mine. Draco, Zabini, and Nott, were the only ones who had a reaction like mine, the rest contorted into fear. Pansy let out a squeak and looked at me, when she realized I didn't have the same reaction, her fear turned into anger. "It's HER!?" I blinked.
Me? What is she talking about? I watched as the mysterious boy silence her and himself, he started speaking to her but no one could hear. I felt Zabini shift beside me with a smile.
"Where did you get the hair pin?" Draco leaned over and looked at it. I touched it with a smile.
"My Grandma showed me where to find it, she told me that she wanted me to have it once she found out her son, my dad, turned away from our traditions." I explained.
"Who was your grandmother?" Draco asked.
"Cedrella Weasley, she was disowned from the Black family after she married my grandpa." Draco nodded in understanding. As they were distracting me from the silenced girl, he lifted up the silence spell and got comfortable in his place. I went back to my book, but before I got to into it I heard the window get hit. Pluto was flying next to a white owl, I opened the window and felt Pluto land on my shoulder and the white owl go to the boy.
I closed the window and let Pluto rest on my shoulder. The white owl was on the boys shoulder and preening under his touch. I shook my head and sat back down, Pluto was looking over my shoulder at my book, her feathers ruffled and a frustrated hiss came from her.
"Don't hiss at me. It's not my fault mom won't buy me the third book." She huffed. "If you don't like it then you can look away." Some of the Slytherins looked at me with bewildered looks. I can talk with my familiar, everyone can. Pluto jumped down to my lap and nudged my hands to give her attention, I sighed and did so. She gave satisfied noises once I hit a good spot on her stomach, needy owl.
"Attention students, we will be reaching the train station in 10 minutes. Please get changed and get ready to leave."
I got up and grabbed my bag, Pluto stayed in my seat with my book open. I walked to the girls room and began changing into my uniform. I kept my tights on. I had a white button up tucked into my gray skirt, a button up black vest with a gray tie, and a robe. I put on my black shoes and walked back into my compartment. Pluto was reading my book. Again.
I picked her and the book up, she gave a sound of surprise before nipping my hand in retaliation. I snorted at her and gave her a look.
"You nip me and I won't be afraid to drop you." she gave me a glare and puffed her chest out, she was pouting. I rolled my eyes and opened the window, she flew out along with the other owl.
"First year students, please leave your belongings on the train." She repeated it a couple more times before we were aloud off the train. We were called by a half-giant named Hagrid, he had everyone get on a boat and when everyone got on them, they started to move. I was seated with my brother, a girl with fluffy hair, and a nervous boy. when the castle came in our sight, it was magnificent.
"Wow..." I sighed. She was beautiful. We docked and went inside the school, Hagrid had us wait for a woman, Professor McGonagall.
"Welcome to Hogwarts," said Professor McGonagall. "The start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory and spend free time in your house common room." She stopped and looked at us.
"The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin." Whispers went around the first years. "Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule-breaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup, a great honor. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours." She quirked an eyebrow at us. "The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarted yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting." She left us for a little while and as she did, some of the first years began seeing if there was anything missing or out of place.
"The Ceremony is about to begin."
