              The room was silent for a moment. The confuse Alpha looked at the Alpha he's forming alliance with.

" Why do you care about her so much? Is she an important friend of yours? ", Chase was taken a back with the question. What is she really to me?

Our mate maybe, Aaron said sarcasticaly.

" No, she's not a friend of mine but I still need to know  how she ended up here. She might be a threat to this pack or a threat to my pack so I need answers Alpha Jake ", he said sternly.

" Okay but I can assure you she's not a threat", he paused. " Well if you don't mess or make her go on a rampage ", remembering Clover's rampage give him chills to his spine from fear. Chase raises his eyebrow in confusion.

"An Alpha scared of a single pack member? Unbelievable!", he whispered to himself.

"I think you should follow his advice, our mate seems different from before. She has a wolf inside her but it's not my mate, also she's leaking a dangerous aura before", Aaron said in a serious tone. Now I think about it she is really a different person, she's her but not her, I really confuses myself now.

" Ok I understand but I would like to know how she ended up here in your pack and why your beta and gamma disrespected me just now", Chase crosses his hand looking at Alpha Jake, he wouldn't tolerate any disrespect towards him.

" I'm really sorry about that Alpha Chase, they were just short tempered when it comes to the people they trust and love the most, that includes Clover. You see my mate was abducted by rouges before, and we don't have any idea where could they hide her. We spent the entire week searching for her, the pack also felt depressed when they learned their Luna is missing. The pack was grieving over their lost Luna, we didn't give up but we are close to it. Exactly 2 weeks after my mate was abducted, Clover showed up with my mate at her back carrying her in a piggy back ride. We were alert at first then she gave our Luna back to us and she suddenly collapsed. We took both of them at the pack hospital to treat any wounds they have. My mate was the first one to wake up, she explained that she saved all the captives of the rouges and safely deliver them to their pack. She was the last one because she's not as weak as the other captives.", their talk was interupted by Nathalie looking for his mate.

" Are you busy dear?", she asked sweetly.

" We were just talking about Clover.", then he think. " It's probably much more easier if my mate answer some questions of yours Alpha Chase", Jake asked directly at Chase. Chase just nod. Nathalie entered the room and sit beside her mate.

" What would you like to know Alpha Chase? ", Nathalie curiously stare at him. Jake mindlink her and said where he stopped.

" Oh I see. As my mate was saying, she saved both me and my baby boy's life at that time. We didn't know until she told us that I was pregnant.", pause, 
" When I was still a prisoner of the rouges, there were a lot of prisoners like me in there each with different ages, I was there in a week when Clover arrived. Her cell was beside mine, she was unconscious when they put her to her cell. Her condition was a lot miserable than the other captives except that she has a healthy body."

" What do you mean a lot miserable?", Chase ask.

" She has wounds all over her body some are fatal, she has no bruises but there are a lot of scars that still look fresh all over her. From her head, arms, legs, at her back and even at her belly it was awful. Her face has some small broken pieces of glass at her face. I thought that she's dead but luckily she's alive. The first time I saw her eyes was when she stopped crying, her sparkles was not there like her eyes are dead. Her cries was silent only tears were flowing on her cheeks."
" We escaped after a week Clover arrived , she was the one who free us all. We were schocked when we escaped from that place. There were dead bodies all over the place. Clover lead us to a tree and she told, more of telepathecally told us to stay and state our packs. We were all shocked that she could talk to us through our minds. She prioritize the children and injured captives then the last one was me. She moves very fast and we all came home safe and sound. When I woke up I told everything about my mate and he doubled the security in her room.", Natalie explained still wondering why would Clover's ex-alpha care so much of her.

" The doctor was so shocked when she checked Clover. She said that her system is full of poisons used for every supernatural creatures, he said that apart from those poisons, some of her wound are professionally cut. The worst part is some of her flesh was sown sloppily and some are not hers. It's very surprising that she is still alive after what happened to her body.", Natalie said solemly recalling the findings of the doctor about Clover in the past.

" I see, last question, why does she drink blood?"

" She's a half vampire, half werewolf", Jake answered giving some coffee to Chase which he gladly accepted.

" Correction Jake, artificial vampire."

"What do you-?"

"She said her vampire side was artificially given to her, by who? we don't know. She never said."
