Smile through the pain

Alex's pov:

'Alex!! Alex!! Answer me, can you hear me?!' I hear a voice but I can't place who's it is. 'Yeah, what do you want?' I mumble. I feel someone lift me up and put me on a braincare. 'Where are we going?' I ask confused but before I can hear the answer I pass out again.

'Everyone out of the room unless you are a doctor or your name is Raven or Madi.' I hear far away. 'Stay with me Alex!' 'We need to stop the bleeding, Raven pressurize the wound! Madi you get Abby!' I slowly start to see a little bit light. I try to speak, but I can't. The only thing that comes out of my mouth is a scream. It feels like I got stabbed again, but more painful. I try to move. 'Hold him down!' Someone screams. I feel hands on my shoulders. They push me softly down. 'It's okay Alex calm down, Clarke needs to do stitches.' This voice I recognize!

'David?' I ask. 'I'm here, you're safe.' David says. I feel a painful feeling again and let out another scream before everything turnes black again.

I wake up screaming. 'Alex! I'm here calm down.' I look next to me and see Clarke running to me. 'God, I had the worst nightmare I was stabbed and got sore stitches.' I say while looking over to my stomach it's still covered in blood but it's dry, the stitches hurt as much as they look. I here someone chuckle. I look at the end of the bed I'm lying in. David is sitting in a chair his hands are covered in my blood. I smile at him and look back to Clarke and realise that she's also covered in blood but not only her hands her entire shirt and part of her pants too. She puts her hand on my cheek and smiles softly. 'How long was I out?' I ask trying to stand up, David immediately walks over to help me. 'I'm okay, I can stand up by myself.' I say even tho it hurts very badly, but I don't want to look weak in front of everyone. 'You were out for 5 hours' Clarke says. 'And 10 minutes!' Someone in the corner says. 'Raven!' I say as I limp over to Raven. 'It has been 1 day and you're already being a greater hero than Clarke.' 'Impossible' I say sarcastic as I give Raven a hug. I turn around to Clarke as Clarke sticks her tongue out. 'Your boyfriends didn't even leave the room once.' Raven whispers in my ear. I turn back to her and hit her on the back of her head. I look back at David and Clarke and smile to them. 'Maybe you should rest now. Tomorrow you can leave the bed for now you have to heal and stay in bed.' Clarke says as she walks towards me to help me. I refuse her hand and limp by myself to the bed. 'If you excusme me I'm now going speak to the guy who did this.' Clarke says as she puts on her 'heda' face. 'I'll come with you!' Raven says sounding angry. 'Ehmm... try not to kill him' I say. 'No promises' Raven says smiling. I hear David swallow. I chuckle a little bit and David smiles at me. Everyone walks out of the room, but I call David back before he can leave. 

Clarke's pov: 

Raven and I walk towards the place where Alex got stabbed. I'm sure that I saw David go back to Alex again, but it's fine I guess Raven told me they had a 'thing' going on or something like that. 'You're worried about Alex aren't you?' Raven asks while she puts a hand on my shoulder. 'Yes, he always does this. Act like everything is fine, but nothing is fine he got himself stabbed!' I say trying to hold back my tears. 'He was only trying to help Madi, you know and he looked okay to me.' 'He's just not showing his pain he always does that.' I say while I stop walking for a second to tie my shoelaces. 'I know that he's like a son to you Clarke.' Raven says as she opens her arms for a hug. I smile softly and give her a hug. 'Change of subject how are you Clarke? We haven't really got the change to have a normal conversation.' 'Well life's pretty crappy right now.' 'Yeah.... let's have this conversation later.' Raven says as she pulls back from the hug. 'Now let's have a conversation with Jonathan, shall we?' Raven says with a grin on her face. 'Raven you can't hit him okay?' I say. 'Whatever you say princess' Raven says smiling. 'I thought we were past that name' I say raising an eyebrow. 'No one ever told me that' 'Let's just go' I say. I hear Raven laughing harder now. I let out a sigh.

Raven and I walk over to the bar and stand on it. 'We need to speak to a so called person Jonathan Jones!!' Raven screams. A tall guy walks over to the bar. 'Yeah?!' he says irritated. 'Come with us' I say angry. We walk over to a quieter place. 'So what do you girls want?' Jonathan asks. 'You piece of shit I'm going to kill him, can I kill him?' Raven says not even looking at him. 'Raven?!' I say. I hear Jonathan chuckle. 'You think this is funny Jones?!' I ask, looking him straight in his eyes. 'Yes ma'am, ehm.. Raven was it right? Whatever but I think Raven might be a little crazy' he says laughing. 'Let me ask the question different. Do you think its funny to force a girl to dance with you even tho she said no and when a guy wants to help the girl you stab the guy.' He looks speechless. 'And Jones? what is your answer to that?' he still doesn't say anything. 'I don't think he's going to say anything anymore so I can do this.' Raven kicks him in the crotch. He falls on the ground he probably didn't see that coming. 'Ouch' I say as I give Raven a highfive. 'I- I'm sorry' They guy mumbles. 'Sorry what was that I couldn't hear you?' Raven says. Jonathan spits towards Raven. I hit him in his face. 'This is for Alex' I say as I continue to hit him. After two minutes Raven pulls me away from him. 'That's enough for today' Raven says and we walk away.

When we are far awar from him I just start crying. Not because of the guilt but because of everthing that's going on right now with Alex and I also still need to talk to Bellamy. Raven hugs me and we talk for 5 minutes until Octavia walks over to us. 'Hé, Raven and Cla- are you okay Clarke?' She sits down next to me and puts her hand on my knee. 'Yeah, I'm fine, it's just Alex and stuff.' 'I understand' She says and gives me a small hug. But I came here because I found something.' She hands me a box. 'What's in it?' I ask opening the box. 'It's a box with things that's survived the explosion in Mount Weater. I know that you still can't forgive yourself for everything. So I thought maybe you should look through it and face your demons.' 'Thank you Octavia, I will' I say while I stand up, give Octavia and Raven a hug and walk to a more private room.

Alex's pov: 
*This is right after Alex called David back into the room*

'Can you stay?' 'Yeah sure, how are you doing?' David asks as he walks back to me. 'Besides being stabbed, I'm fine' I say sarcastic. David sits next to me on the bed. 'I'm serious Alex'. I don't know what to answer so I just look at him. At his beautiful blue eyes that remind me of the sea that I used to go to with my parents before they found out I was a natblida (nightblood). 'Alex are you feeling okay?' Damn it I was probably staring. 'Yeah ehm... I- I just-' That's all i can say before his lips touch mine. HOLY SHITTING SHIT he just kissed me,definitly didn't expect him to make the first move but here we are still kissing. I pull back after a few seconds. The only thing that comes out of my mouth is 'Did- did u really just kiss me?!' Seriously Alex, no he just bloody hit you are you STUPID. 'Maybe' David says. 'That's pretty gay Dave' I say sarcastic. He burst out laughing. 

David and I talked for over an hour about how we are going to do this and that was pretty hard because Clarke never really told me how a relationship works, but David is really kind and explained everything.

After an hour of talking we decide to go check on everyone even tho Clarke told me not to go out of bed but when did I ever listened to what Clarke told me. We walk to the hallway I use David as support because it hurts when I walk but I didn't tell him that. Before we go our separate ways, I give him a quick kiss and limp to the right as David goes to the left.

I'm finally done with this chapter hahahahaha I'm sorry it took so long, but I had a lot of school assignments. David and Alex are finally dating :DD. Next chapter we are going to find out what Clarke finds in the box and probably a mother son conversation with Alex :o Thank you for reading!
