Chapter 9 "Guilty"

I wake up at 4am in the morning by a knock on the door. I get out of bed and to the door "Who is it?" I said tiredly. "Zoë Hange" Zoë has been helping Levi with everything and I do trust her even though she not in her right mind sometimes but she cool. "Yes Zoë what so you need?" I said grabbing my robe and my keys. I open the door but as soon as I open it she pulled me outside "Do you trust me?" She said in a fast tone "Yes?" I lock the door then put my key in my pocket. 'thump thump' I wake up to hear his heart and him breathe. "Levi?" Zoë walk in smiling "Ah I see you hear him breathing, I had to move you so I can shock him" I run to Zoë and hug "Thank you" Zoë hug me back tighly "Couple week he'll be back his old self in no time"

I made the kids some breakfast, I left them a note. I go to the castle that Zoë took me to last time. As I enter the castle I saw Levi standing you but something seems off about him.

Oh yes he is he just in his mine space for right now" I grab everyone plate and wash them "Now kids go get clean up and get ready for school" Nick and Winter run to there room. The kids come running back out and grab there backpack "Ah! You know the routine" you kiss the kids on the cheek "Have fun at school" the kids walk out the house. I pull Levi out the chair and take him to the bed. I change his clothes, I left him in boxer then I lay him in the bed an cover him up. I lay next to him, hope he's okay god knows what he's thinking. Ten day before Christmas is almost here, Levi already took off his bandages and his back to is old self.

I look back to see Levi said in a low tone "I'm a soldier here" I said pushing his hand away "Your support to be at home with the kids and me, cooking food and cleaning like a wife should do!" I'm a woman who gave birth to two amazing kids and! made sure you are still living" you push him back "For you to say I'm supposed to do what should do how about you have no wife!?" I take the ring off and give it to him. "Goodbye" I walk away "Y/n" I keep walking and get on my horse and riding away.

{Levi P.O.V}
"Damn it!" I went home and sit on the couch, the kids start running out there room to the living room "Dad where mom?" Nick said "Mom said she was going to teach me how to make Bao" I clear my throat "Mom is going to be gone for a while" the kids frown "She not coming back is she?" I shake my head no "No sweetheart she not" I didn't want the kids to grow destin from me but since there mom is gone that might happen "Kids mom is coming home I promise she just need.....time to herself" they both nods "Now go take a shower brats" I gave them a small smile. They take shower and eat "I want you two in bed before ten, got it?" They nod and continue eating, when they finish they clean there dishes and head to bed "Goodnight dad" they both say "Goodnight brats" I lay in my empty bed alone 'Can't believe what I said I'm such an idiot' I thought to myself, I lay there for a minute and follow asleep.
