Chapter 2 - partner

After yesterday's frantics, I went to school. "uuuuugh..." I moaned as I podged out of bed like a potato. "need... To... Look... Presentable..." I say to myself, still tired after getting changed. I sit down at my makeup desk and get ready and I finish quite proud of my face.

I walk downstairs and carry on getting ready for the crappy day ahead. "hello honey, do you have Jodee's present?" My mum asks kindly. crap, its jodee's birthday.

I grab her Present, say goodbye and head to school. I see Jodee where I normally meet her holding a few gift bags... already? "Hey jo! Happy birthday!." I say running up and hugging her tightly.

The present I got her had to be special, since today she's 16, and its a special one. I got me and her matching rings that are silver and have the infinite sighn on them. on the inside it says 'forever and more'.

"Oh my god! It's so cute! Thank you so much!." She says doing her normal happy jump. im still in total and utter shock from the fact that the guy I have liked for 3 years talked to me. me.

"Hey! You from yesterday!" I hear over the crowd which makes me and turn around once again to see noah. "er, hey yeah, hi, hello, hey." I say in panic and confusion. "my names sophie, yeah I'm so sorry about yesterday. its my fault. why am I talking to a popular boy, I'll go now sorry." I stutter and start to walk away, with sadness flowing around me, I just ruined a chance to talk to him.

I pass through a few lessons still feeling anger towards myself for walking away. in P.E there is two boys groups and two girls groups. We got told that we had to pair with a by each to make boy, girl, boy, girl etc. the teachers ended up picking our partners as we wouldn't shut up. "sophie, you go with..... James." Miss.joll says pointing to james. crap.

James has liked me since year 7 (first year of high school if you live in another country than england.) and he Dosnt leave me alone.

"Oh, hey... sophie." James says stepping forward and firmly putting his. Hands on my hips so I can't get out of his grip. "james. got off of me. now." I say trying my hardest to get out of his grip, he was quite strong and I was really weak. I was stuck.

"Hey, get off her you freak." I hear a deep, fiery voice behind james. "and what will you do? Your to popular to notice this beauty." says James, turning round still covering up the person but also gripping my wrist so I can't get away. (if your wondering why a teacher hasn't noticed. the only teacher is on the other side of the huge hall.)

Suddenly I see James fall the the floor in agony holding his face, I look up to see.... noah?. "T-thank you!, y-you shouldn't have. I-I'm just sophie, you n-noah. what just h-happened?. oh lord."

"Noah Calvert! Get out of this hall right this second!". I hear Mr.dismall boom while walking towards us.

"Er, what just happened?." I hear Jodee behind me as I'm stood in shock. "I-I don't know myself."
