Oceania's POV

Watching the other four trolls come to an understanding of why the mer-trolls reacted that way. Essence then asked "You give life to the Sea?" I trace letters onto Trollex's hand that I am still holding onto. 'It is not just the Sea, but also to the land as well as the ones who live there too.' Trollex relays it to the other trolls what I am writing on his hand. Delta then asks "So when we Country trolls had that lovely harvest last year... that was you helping us?" I nod to her question in reply; that is when the same troll came back. My ears flick back as they approach the cell. She then demands me "Give me that stupid thing." I narrow my eyes at her; instead of my usual blue eyes they are now glowing red like the flames of the wildfires. She takes a step back in shock or fear; I don't really care. I hold up my Ocarina, but let it disappear right in front of her.

Then I do something that I have not done in a very long time... speak "No... I will... never give... it to the... likes of... you." I glare at her; my pupils turn to snake like slits and she quickly leaves. Holding up a hand to my throat and wincing in pain as I cough a bit. My eyes return to the soft glowing, sky blue. Trollex asks "Are you alright?" I nod, but trace on his hand 'I will be alright. Just haven't used my voice in a very long time.' He nods and Quincy asks "What did she say Trollex?" "She said that she will be alright. She just hasn't used her voice in a very long time." Trollex replies to Quincy almost instantly and Delta asks "How long sugar?" I grab Trollex's hand so he can hold up his eight fingers while I hold up my ten fingers. Looking away from them as I am drawn into a flashback.

I was only five years old at the time when it all happened. My parents and our entire clan were all having a blast. We were doing a rave for my fifth birthday; we were all having so much fun. That we never saw it coming; it all happened so fast. Singing and dancing one minute to everyone fighting in the air above us the next.

My uncle looked back at me and saw an attack aimed right at me. He teleported me out of the way; far from the battle. But at the cost of his life; when I got back onto my paws. I watch as my family, my home, my people, my kingdom are all destroyed. The last place that all Merillian trolls called home and had lived in peace was completely gone. I watch as the palace crumbles in on itself and most of the city falls into the abyss below.

I am shaking so much as I watch in absolute shock and horror. Everything and everyone I have ever known are gone. Slumping to the ground as I realise that I will never see them again. Getting up from the ground; I make my way into the nearby forest. Taking one last look at where my home used to be. All the while tears streak down my face constantly. With a very heavy heart; I leave it all behind and made a vow to never speak again unless I really need too.

Coming out of the flashback; I notice that Trollex is trying to get me to calm down. While the other trolls seem to be worried; I shake my head slowly. Delta asks "Are you alright sweetie?" I lift my hand up and wiggle it in a 'so and so' motion. Essence then asks "Was it... about what happened?" Nodding sadly while tears are still falling non stop down my face. Trollex starts rubbing my back while whispering into my ear again. Trying to comfort me; that's when a little green mer-trolling came up to me. They then hugged me too; I smile at the young one. The little trolling asks "Are you okay?" I slowly answer "I am... alright... little one; just that... my throat is... really sore."

"Why you sore?" The young one asks innocently and I answer them "Well

"Why you sore?" The young one asks innocently and I answer them "Well... I have not... used my voice... in over... eighteen years." Trollex is still holding me; his face says that he can easily sympathize with me. The young mer-trolling asks "What your name?" I smile at the cute mer-trolling and answer "Oceania... little one... and your... name is?" "Coral Blush." The young mer-trolling answered with pride. Chuckling softly at them; I glance up at Trollex whom seems to be content to keep holding me. I ask him politely " Am I able... to get up... Trollex; you... seem quite... content on... holding me... in your arms?"

Trollex's POV

As soon as Oceania asked that; I feel my cheeks get up. Delta giggles at me while Quincy and Essence share a look. While Trollzart doesn't really care much; Coral was confused by my reaction. I helped Oceania to her fins and let her go once she was floating. She nodded in thanks; I just scratched the back of my neck in embarrassment. Delta has that look about her that she won't let this rest at all. Really dreading what she would've done if we weren't in the predicament that we are currently in. I give Delta a slight glare that basically says 'Oh give me a break.' She just smirks at me while chuckling at me. I roll my eyes at her while shaking my head and just try to ignore her. Yet that don't work out well; Oceania is showing Coral a few little notes on her shell flute.

Delta managed to get me by myself; away from them. She asks with a huge teasing smile on her face "So you like her Trollex?" I blush at Delta's question; yet my gaze wonders back over towards Oceania. Watching her make Coral giggle and laugh; playing a few games and notes on her instrument. I blush even harder when I realise that I'm staring at her. Looking at the ground; I finally manage to say "Yeah; I do... Ever since I first saw her a few years ago. I have see her a few times over the years. She never knew that some of us Techno trolls liked to go to the surface. Especially to watch her as she danced amoung the waves. Playing her sweet and soothing melody as she goes."

Delta looked a little shocked, but she shook it off and asked "Then why have you never talked to her until today?" Sighing heavily; I answer Delta "We were afraid to scare her away... That she would flee from us and never be seen again. We loved listening to her music; it is so relaxing and different from our own. It was unique... special to us; so we always watched her from a distance. Never getting too close to her to be seen; staying hidden." Delta's gaze softens up a bit and she says "If you don't take a risk to tell her your feelings then... Your only chance will be truely lost." I glance at Delta and nod in understanding, but can't help but be afraid of scaring Oceania away.
