The Shadow (Chishiya x Reader)

"No, they just look like someone I know." You replied.

"Oh I see, because I know them." Kuina introduced herself to Arisu and Usagi and talked about her mother.

You don't know what was happening but it seems like Kuina wanted to befriend them.

"This is Y/n and she's new here too." Kuina pointed to you and you smiled at them.

"I'm Arisu and this is Usagi." Arisu said.

"Nice to meet you."

The four of you were having good conversations when all of the sudden, everyone around you became quiet. And that's when Aguni and his group came.

"You, where's your friend?" Aguni asked Arisu and you saw Arisu's face saddened, indicating that this friends of his is gone. "Ah I see, the small one survived."

Aguni then saw Usagi and wanted to take her to his room.

"My boss said he wanted to taste you!" Nigari was about to touch Usagi when Arisu went in the way.

"It's better not to get involved in this." Kuina said but Arisu didn't listen.

There was a big tension in the air and you held the handle of your sword. Samura saw this and wielded his sword.

As soon as he did, you pulled out yours and the two of you pointed your swords at each other. Nigari walked towards you then started laughing.

"Well well well, look who we have here." Nigari pointed his gun at you to scare you but your expression didn't change.

Kuina gave you a worried look and she didn't know what to do. She hoped that someone will come and stop the argument as she did not want you getting hurt.

"You think I'm not going to pull the trigger? Put that away now before I blow your head off." Nigari threatened and your smirked.

"This is between me and the bald guy, why are you threatening me with a gun you coward." You glared at Nigari and Samura started laughing.

"I got this Nigari, go and get the girl." Samura instructed and Nigari gave you a glare before going to Usagi.

"Take her." Nigari demanded.

You were about to help Usagi but Samura attacked you so you blocked him.

"Not bad for a little girl like you." Samura complimented and everyone around you started backing away.

"I could say the same thing for you, old bald guy." You fired back and he glared at you.

He continued attacking you and you have to dodge all of his attacks because you knew they were watching and you know that they are looking for you.

You saw them as soon as you arrived at the pool, scanning the crowds to find you. You didn't want to show that you can wield a sword so you pretended that you let go of the sword.

Samura gave you a grin before charging at full speed. You were ready to block the attack, to show those who were watching you that you're not the one they're looking for.

Although a white figure appeared in front of you and pushed you out of the way before Samura could hit you. Kuina was glad that Chishiya came in time, as well as Hatter.

"What is going on here?" Everything seems to stop as soon as Hatter appeared at the scene.

You look up to see your saviour and saw Chishiya grunting in pain. He then met his eyes with your one and checked if you've been cut.

"Are you okay?" His voice was soft and this was the first time you heard him using that tone.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine." You stood up while dusting yourself and you realized that Chishiya was wearing a different white hoodie.

"Why did you just stand there?" Chishiya asked you.

"I... I need to..." You replied almost in a whisper but Chishiya still heard you.

"Can you let the members off this time for me Aguni?" You heard Hatter and all attention was to them. "Who is your boss Aguni?"

"It's you right?" Aguni replied and you were thankful that the problem here had been solved.

"We're not done yet little girl, until next time." Samura pointed at you before leaving.

You pick up your sword and glanced at the people who were watching you before you walked away.

Chishiya followed you and when you were sure that you're away from everyone, you turned around and confront Chishiya.

"Why did you do that?" You asked him and his brow raises in confusion. "Why did you saved me!"

"I..." For the first time, Chishiya was lost of words.

He didn't know how to respond, he was thinking that you should be thankful because he saved your life but it was the opposite.

"You shouldn't have done that, you should just let Samura attacked me." You were pacing back and forth and Chishiya had enough.

"I just saved your life, why are are you mad at me for saving your life? And you could have beaten Samura easily so why didn't you." Chishiya asked you.

"I have my reasons." Was your reply.

You then saw them from the corner of your eye and you know you have to act fast. You pulled Chishiya at the corner then covered his mouth just in case he questions you.

He got your message and he stayed quiet and as the group of guys walked past, Chishiya heard some of their conversation.

"Are you sure it's her?"

"But she doesn't know how to use a sword properly."

"Let's keep an eye on her to make sure."

"We'll get her one day, she won't be able to hide from us anyway. We already found out her true gender and now we'll get her for sure."
