once the car wouldn't even make sounds, tom stops trying. "so..." i say. "i think you should fix it." tom looks at me. gives me a look that says he isn't in the mood for jokes and i shut up. "i'll do it." i say and start to get out of the car. "woah, woah, woah. there is no way i am letting a woman do a mans job." he says, grabbing my arm and pulling me back into the car. ugh why does he have to be so polite and kind and HIM. but it doesn't matter how kind he is or how attractive people think he is. we will never have anything together. i don't even want it. i sit down in my seat and he hops out at opens the hood. he stands there and states at the car for a while. after 10 minutes of this is i get bored and annoyed and get out of the car to see what the matter is. when i find him he is sitting on the ground leaning against the car in tears. "tom?" i say. "i'm a terribly sorry love i just haven't slept in days and i get really stressed and i am just really fragile. i am so sorry that i pulled you out into this. please forgive me darling." he says looking at me. red poofy eyes staring up me. "oh my gosh tom. it is alright. i am actually having a decent time. if you haven't slept you need to sleep. i will not let you go another minute without sleeping. go now and lay down in the back of the car. now!" i say. i sit next to him and put my arm around him to comfort him. he nods and i help him up and open the door for him and he gets in the car and lays down and almost instantly falls asleep. his face relaxes and all the stress which was in his face and body releases and he is a completely new person. i watch him for a while then i try to find something to do. i poke around the car to find out who this car really belongs to. i sit down in the passenger sae and realise how very tired i am to. i don't want to go to sleep in fear that officer will be standing over me but i can't help myself and i gradually fall into a deep sleep.
