---Oops---
My eyes hurt, they were sore like they had been closed for an eternity. I tried opening them, even though it hurt. There was a boy in my vision, his head turned toward the window rather than me. I grunted when I felt a pressure on my arm. It ached and felt just like my eyes. I was in pain.
He reacted to the noise, turning and rushing to my side.
"Hey! Are you ok? Do you want some water? Need anything? A towel? Anything?"
I thought for a moment before trying to respond, "Uh, Water would be nice." My voice was scratchy when I spoke. I looked up at him and studied his features.
He looked mad, his face almost unchanging when he walked. His eyes were dark and looming. With his hair it looked exactly like you would think it would if you saw him, black and straight.
When he returned, some of the water sloshed on his hand. It shimmered as he neared the edge of the bed.
"Here"
He handed me the plastic cup and I slowly drank it, one small drop flowing down my chin. I could feel his eyes, watching my Adam's apple bob up and down, trailing the droplet as it disappeared underneath my white shirt.
"Thank you," I said, handing him the plastic. He willingly accepted it and threw it into the trash can on the other side of the room. It dropped almost silently into the metal bin an I shifted, amazed.
"Wow! Do you play basketball?"
He shook his head, "Nope, Volleyball."
My eyes lit up happily, hands clapping together in joy.
"Wait, your on the Kurasuno Team?"
His head shook with an agreement again and I laughed silently. I held my hand absently over my mouth before looking up, right into his eyes. A cough from outside broke the silence and we both looked away.
"So, I think you might want to know who I am," he started," I'm Kageyama Tobio, I'm in 10th Grade, I like volleyball, and..."
His voice trailed off and I looked at him, his eyes looked hurt now, almost as if someone had punched him square in the face.
"I..."
""I'm Hinata, Hinata Shōyōu! I also like volleyball, Meat buns, sweets, and I kinda have a thing for guys. It's not that I don't like girls, it's just boys are preferable."
His eyes shot up, Searching for an answer on my face.
"You're Gay.... oh god... thank god..."
I raised an eyebrow, shooting a glair in his direction. Was that supposed to be an insult? A complement?
"Hey! Was that a dis?!"
His hands shot up, waving off my suspicions and resting back at his sides.
"No! I'm just saying.. your... really cute... and I saw you and... just kinda was hoping you weren't straight."
My face exploded, red and puffed up.
"Oh.... your not too unattractive yourself."
He smiled happily and reached out a hand.
"I really hope we can be friends."
I shook his hand and smiled back. His face lit a fire, it warmed those dark parts in my brain and I just hoped this could be something. Someone that could love me, treat me like an actual person

It was late, and I didn't want to go home. My arm ached as Kageyama carried me inside his house. To try and get the idea of his hands on me away, I looked around. The floor felt far away as we slowly made our way up the stairs.
