Chapter 4

O͢n͢e͢ t͢o͢ a͢n͢o͢t͢h͢e͢r

Giyu arrived while he had matsu laid comfortably in her box her used his mitched matched uniform and wraps it around her.
There was a knock on the door as he Stands up and walks towards the door.
A familiar woman stood there with a confused yet happy gaze.
"is it true?"shinobou asks. "You took in a demon"
Giyu sighs as he steps out not responding to her.
"why? To think it's you of all the hashira, then again I'm not surprised "she said.
Giyu stayed silent as he looks at her.
"though I'm interested...how is it that this demon is like nezuko-"
"There not the same" he said sternly. Shinoubo looked at her fellow hashira in shock.
"what's that supposed to mean" she said.
Giyu turns away from her and back towards his house. He opens the door and closed it in her face.

Giyu sighs as a familiar yowl was heard. The demon slayer turns to the box to see a tired child looking at him with a relieved gaze. Giyu sits next to her box as he gently caressed her cheek in a comforting manner. Matsu held his larger hand in her small ones as she cuddled him making a happy cooe.
"You were brave...You deserve rest..."he said softly. A small smile that giyu himself didn't notice spread across his face.

The day of the trial arrived. The sun had set as giyu arrived with the box. The other hashira where there as they looked at giyu with a serious look.
He noticed tanjiro inosuke and zenitsu where also there.

The box shook as giyu kept it locked as he stayed silent.
Tanjiro's eyes widen as he looks at the smaller box.
'so it is true...'
"tomioka explain this Nonsense first you allow a demon to leave now you keep one yourself!? Have you lost your Danm mind!" said a male with white hair and scars.
Giyu didn't respond as he looked away with his eyes closed.
The box shook as a growl was heard. Giyu made an irritated look as he tried to keep her quiet.
'You just had to wake up...' he thinks as he heaved a sigh.

Giyu ignored there plans of death as he closed his eyes.
"master Ubuyashiki has arrived "said two girls. Giyu immediately bows as he held the box.
"I am so glad to see that my children are in good health..."
"welcome master I am glad to see how Well you are I pray your health stays this way for much longer" said a male with black hair and mitched matched eyes.

The taller male with pastel purple eyes smiles.
"now...I heard one of my hashira has befriended a demon as well" he said as everyone turns to giyu who as silent.

"May we see them?"Ubuyashiki asks. Giyu closed his eyes as he hums before unlocking the box.
The box was still till it shook and tips over. Matsu rolls out, and growls angry at giyu. Giyu pulls out a bone as he hands to her before she began to nibble on the bone happily her tail wagging.

The hashira looked at the demon shocked.
"what kind of bone is that?"
"a cows, she chews on them when she's bored or hungry, in this case it's both"he explained  as he looked at matsu.
"what's it's name"
"she's not an 'it', her name is matsunoki but we agreed I call her matsu."he said as matsu looks at the hashira.

Stealing is bad so instead try to give 

Giyu's voice rung in her head as she looks at the demon slayers you looked back at her
'stealing bad...so share...' she thinks as she stands up with the bone and extends it to one of them.

She sadly picked the wrong one as the bone was slapped away as she was kicked to the other side of the room.

Giyu stood up but Ubuyashiki held his hand up telling him to stop as giyu grits his teeth. He's never felt so angry towards a demon but instead of hate it was worry and revenge towards his own ally.
'that bastard has alot of nerve...'

Matsu struggled to sit up before a sword stabs her side causing her to yelp in pain.
"I don't even think there would be a second demon that will turn away from the taste of human blood. He growls as he cuts his arm.

Matsu trembled as she looks up. Flashes of the way her family treated her caused her to fear this man.

she's a demon!"he said disgusted as he mother and father looked at her in shock and horror.
"b-but mama is me..-"
"I'm not your mother you...You monster!"she snaps. The child froze as looked at her family.
"i-" a knife was thrown as she dodged.
"GET OUT OF HERE DEMON AND DON'T COME BACK!!"The father yells.

Matsu tears up before running though this legs letting the blood fall on her face as she jumps towards giyu and hides under his cloak.

Giyu turns as he placed his hand against her body as he glared at his comrad named Shinazugawa.
'i now understand why tanjiro was so pissed...then again...I'm confused..'

"WHAT THE HELL! Are all demons becoming soft weaklings cause if so that's pathetic!!"the wind hashira yelled angrily.
Giyu tched.

"That's what's bothering you...after you attack a demon who had no intention of harming you not to mention it's a child-"
"That's what the brat wants you to be-"
"She's been a demon for less than a year she's only 4!"he says.

Ubuyashiki raised his finger a they went silent.
"It is now shown that this demon is no threat and is most certain she will not harm a demon.
Giyu felt relived as he gently rubs her back with his finger.
'I'm sorry you had to go through that maths...but now you are safe from Demon slayers ..."he thinks.

Tanjiro ran over as he smiles.
"Congrats-"
Giyu points his sword at tanjiro who froze.
"You will die tonight..."
