Alecto Carrow insisted on students sitting with their respective blood status; purebloods together, and halfbloods. Mudbloods had not come to Hogwarts this year. They weren't allowed, and many of them had been murdered by death eaters. She sat at her desk, watching the 7th years like a hawk. Her beady eyes narrowed as she caught sight of the Longbottom boy who seemed to be gazing off into space.
"LONGBOTTOM!" she snapped, gaining the attention of many students. He bit his lip and looked at her.
"Uhm, yes, Professor Carrow?" he asked, nervously sweating. He could sense the Patil twins next to him tense up, and could see the slytherins surrounding them sneering.
"What's on your mind?" she asked sweetly. He gulped. Alecto Carrow was never sweet; if her voice was sweet, it meant danger was on the way.
"Nothing, Professor," he lied.
"LIAR!" she screamed, flicking her wand. A gash opened in his face and blood oozed out. Several students looked away, however most slytherins snickered. One slytherin, however, looked at Alecto in annoyance. She opened her mouth to speak, then she saw Neville had noticed her and slumped back into her seat.
"How much muggle blood do you reckon you and Amycus have?" Neville asked. Gasps emitted from the rest of the students. And that would be something Neville remembered for the rest of his life.---
Woo! Who do you think the anonymous slytherin student was? I'll give you a hint; she's appeared in my other stories 😉
