Perilous fall part 1

The night seemed calm and tame, the starlit sky watched over the world that, almost like they were governing it. The sombre breeze had swept through the green pastures of the land. Alongside, the sway of the trees that lended into creating the perfect back set for a romantic date. But that didn't seem like a major subject for me as I had just endured the longest day full of lectures and boring study lessons, all I wanted to do is just frollick freely amongst mother nature, be nurtured instead of being harmed and scrutinised by all of my so-called peers; I could feel their negative aura from here, always pressuring and urging me to act like some one I wasn't. I had enough, before I left, my little brother had told me these non-sensical and prosperous stories about an underground where there lied a mystery about peace and prosperity. But to me, it all just sounds like myth, an urban legend to rustle town folk to scurry around and hang by every word of the messenger.

Anyways, I decided that tonight was going to be my chance to seek a new life, take a leap into the unknown to find out whether these hoaxes were true or not. I mean in the end, it was the perfect opportunity to explore and discover the majesty that was the night sky, it's majestic but reserved nature only further being like me. I decided to venture on, obviously climbing out of my window, making sure to not wake the mighty lion that was my younger brother, making sure to leave a note pinned to my pillow that I had hand written before.

Thoughts of loneliness and emptiness clouds my mind as I etched forward into the night, the rustling of leaves and the crrinkling of grass under my feet as I clumsily continued onward, using the stars themselves to guide me along my travels. All of which I had picked up from an old book I was studying for my finals. It had said that "the north star will always guide someone towards truth and prosperity". But I had hoped it would guide me towards my true ambitions and desires.

But all that aside, I periodically checked my phone, incase of an emergency or to aimlessly scroll and become more jealous of those people on social media. But It was mainly used as a torch to illuminate the path ahead, continual thoughts of regret and second-doubting fled into my mind, welling up and dampening any positive emotion I had before. The darkness kept growing, the shadows cutting deeper. But , this time my body was reacting, my vision fading as I started to stumble. Failing to formulate a plausible thought. My heart pounding a mile a minute as I continued to fall into insanity, it was getting hazy. My palms glazed with sweat and my knees buckling under the tremendous weight of my actions, I failed to notice the pretty obvious hole in all of this, that being my downfall as I descended down into a pit of despair.

My eventual descent was comforted by the grace and beauty of a flower bed, I started to affix my vision again to get a grip on where I was, clueless and in pain, I pulled myself up. Nothing however survived the plunge, so I had to brave it alone, the cold and dank caverns omitted this sense of fear and dread. Thus, I started to walk through this arched column that seemed to evoke the most emotion I had ever felt, my heart bounding out of my chest as I struggled to analyse my surroundings until something called out to me, a voice emminating off the void that I had been residing in. It pronounced itself as flowey , followed up by "golly a human, you must be new here, what's your name buddy?". The question of which caught me off guard, my instant answer being "I..it's y/n.."

Flowey:
"It's nice to meet you y/n"

Y/n
"S..same here, anyway, do you know where I...I mean we are right now"

Flowey
"Sure do, down here is another world that doesn't seem to favour humans, especially those who aren't very powerful hehe"

Y/n
"Umm"

After that statement, I started to tremble in fear, something didn't sit right. Why is there a talking flower, why did it's face just change into something really creepy.

Flowey
"So silly, are you gonna tell me why ya down here"

Y/n
"Umm.. sorry thats none of your umm business"

Flowey
"Oh you fool, it sure is. Trust me, down here....it's all of our business. I mean, WHAT COULD YOU BE POSSIBLY HIDING, PAIN, MISFORTUNE!!!"

The atmosphere started to change, I looked around me, these white floating orbs surrounded me. in a mix of desperation and plea, I mustered all of my curouge and asked...

Y/n
"What...no, why are you doing this? Who are these other people, what are these things around me...please answer me"

Flowey
"Don't worry....ooo don't worry pathetic human, all your question will be answered in time. But for now, why don't you just relax, ooo these friendliness pellets will help ease your pain. And by the morning....your life will have taken a vital and very perilous fall...MWUHAHAHAHA!!!!"
