A few days past and I've been rehearsing and working at the same time. It's terribly hard but I'm keeping up with the pace of a crappy life, I want Lauren to live not starve. Although I haven't told the crew I had a bigger responsibility which was of course my baby. And I'm planning to tell Justin as soon as possible.

"That's was great, we can a have a break for now! Almost done with the set list everybody!" Our choreographer, Granté has said.

I wiped off the sweat that has beaded on my forehead and drank my water. In my sight, I spotted Justin just finished talking to Granté, he was making his way to the door. Before we started, I didn't have a choice but to chase after him.

"Justin, wait up!" I called before him.

He stopped and turned around. "Oh hi, Constance." He said scratching the back of his head making tiny steps towards me.

"Hey, uhm, there's something you should know before I climb aboard this tour...." I bit my lip nervous and scared that tears would fall out of my eyes.

I mean I don't want him to see me crying, balling my eyes out.

"What is it?" His head lift up and looked at me.

"Uhm, it's kinda personal and I don't know if its going to affect my dancing career... or if it would prevent me from this dream." I started off. I gulped, "well, I have this really big responsibility at home.."

"And? What is it?" Justin said waiting.

"I have a baby" I looked at him realizing his jaw was dropped; probably shocked and tears fell. I didn't know why but it just did. It felt great though, letting something out you've been hiding for a bit of time. "And I would understand it if you'll me out of the-"

"Why would I pull you out, Constance?" He cut me with a reply.

"Why is that? Don't you understand? I have a baby. She's alive. And what would happen if she needs milk during a performance? Who'll be willing to feed her?" I replied.

"I do understand. We invited you to join because you're amazing at what you do. I'm not pulling you out just because you have a baby, you're part of the family now. And family sticks together, they're always there for you." He smiled.

I'd never realized, and I never thought he would be like this. Even if he is still a jerk at times, he's actually caring. He cares for everything and everyone in his crew.

I couldn't help it, there was this urge for me to hug him. So I did, and he hugged me back wrapping his hands around me.

"Thank you so much, Justin. I will do my best." I said.

"I can't believe you're leaving tomorrow, Constance" André has said as I was packing my things.

"Me neither. But promise me you'll keep in touch? I'm gonna need you once in a while." I said.

Past few days, after I told Justin about Lauren, I realized my feelings for André was just friend feel sand nothing serious. We did had a small fling, but it was unforgettable. I was glad he was complete honest with me. We didn't stop talking though, we were friends and soon enough until now, he was one of my trusted friends.

"Of course, babe! I mean I'll miss you hell I'm going to call you before you sleep." He swore.

"What about time difference love?" I said putting my suitcase out of my room.

"We'll work it through. It's just time. And there's little thing called the Internet nowadays?" He replied sarcastically.

"Uhm, there's also this little thing called 'I-don't-have-a-computer'" I said with air quotation marks.

He chuckled. "Right, but I will call you"

"And I might as well answer it." I said.

"You don't really have to bring Lauren with you, I can take care of her. Together with George and Derek." He said off-handedly.

"I've thought about that. But I want to be there when she grows up. I'm her mom and I won't let you guys spend so much for my child. Perhaps, she's gonna be a pain the arse. Waking up at 2am or so to just calm her down is a not-so-easy job to take." I responded.

"But if you need us, really we are just a phone call away." He smiled.

"I know that, and I'll miss you guys so much." I sighed and hugged him and pulled back smiling.

"Aaaance! I just totally forgot you're leaving tomorrow. I'm ordering pizza and Chinese food. Who's up for that?" She said hugging me with teary eyes. Tagging along behind her was Derek still sleepy. As seen from his tired eyes and messy hair.

***

I said my goodbyes to three of my dearest friends with baby Lauren in my arms. It was gonna be a long tour. And hell, it was gonna be hard. I'm just hoping my parents are looking down at me guiding me to the right directions.

It's just 9 months, what could be bad?
