KAT's POV
I just ran
all I do is run away, i just want leave everything behind and never look back.
My thoughts were interrupted when i stopped dead on my tracks near a cliff. PERFECT. I quickly sat down near a tree and pulled out a blade from my pocket which i always carry around. I slith a long line across both my wrist until above my elbow and on my legs, i quickly stuffed dirt inside the freshly cut wounds hoping it would be infected quickly.
After 2 minutes I stood upand went to the edge of the cliff and closed my eyes, I whispered my goodbyes when I remebered a short memory of him..
-FLASHBACK-
Me and Niall were on the swings giggling as we swinged higher and higher. Niall was just sitting there and was staring at me, I quickly blushed and was about to say something when my phone started ringing, I checked the caller and it was my mom
"Hi mom, what's wrong" I said while I listen to her sobs
"Kat... your dad left"
"Wh-what?"
"HE LEFT US AND TOOK A PORTION OF OUR MONEY AND TOLD ME WE WORTHLESS SCUMS THAT RUINED HIS LIFE AND REPUTATION"
After she said that she hanged up but I was literally in shock and a tear was escaping my eyes. Niall hugged me and kept on shushing me "Kat what happened?" I looked up at him "H-he left us Niall and said that we were worthless scum" he just rubbed my back and whispered soothing words.
"Kat you know you're not scum you're the most beautiful person that I ever met and I'll be here for you in your darkest hour and you'll be happy"
-END OF FLASHBACK-
A tear fell when I replayed that memory in my head, I held my blade tighter until i felt a warm liqiud on my hand. I still love Niall even though he has hurt me. I inhaled deeply and said " I still love you Niall" before I turned to darkness.
LIAM'S POV
I can't believe she jumped, worst than that she cut herself, i tried not to cry but failed. I looked at the scene below me and saw a fisherman going towards where Kat has fallen, I ran to the nearby beach even though I can barely see through my tear stained eyes, when i got there I Paced back and forth and waited for the man to arrive, while i was waiting I decided to call Harry
"Harry...Kat jumped off a cliff" I said those painfull words with tears caught in my eyes
He didn't answer so I just hang up.By the time I looked at the beach the man was coming towards me while carrying Kat in his arms "Sir please don't get me involved with this situation" he said while giving me Kat.
I ran to the nearest hospital "HELP! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME! MY GIRLFRIEND IS INJURED!" a nurse came walking by swaying her hips. GOD CAN SOMEONE BE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW."Well hello there" she said while batting her eyelashes at me, i glared at her but she ignored said"What seems to be the problem here" she said while touching my arm "CAN'T YOU BE SERIOUS! MY GIRLFRIEND IS PROBABLY DYING HERE" she rolled her eyes and kept on touching my arm "Forget about her she's probably dying ringht now and you don't want to have a dying girlfriend do you? so how about we forget about her and continue with us"
I pushed her away from me "STAY AWAY FROM ME OR ELSE I'LL TELL YOUR BOSS TO FIRE YOUR SLUTTY ASS FROM THIS HOSPITAL" I called for another nurse and luckily they aren't as fake as that first nurse.
I texted the boys the adress of the hospital. After a few minutes Niall burst in to the room and went to Kat's side and held her hand. I was angry at him for hurting her "DON'T TOUCH HER NIALL" he let go of her hand and looked at me "WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM LIAM?!" he looked at me "YOU'RE THE REASON WHY SHE'S HERE" he looked like he was about to beat the cap out of me "HOW IS THAT SO" Ihe looked at him like it was the most obvious question in the world "ISN'T IT OBVIOUS THAT YOU HURT HER" His face had guilt on them.
A few hours later a nurse came in and said "Are you all friends of Kat Ronnan?" we shot our heads up "Yes, we are" the nurse took a deep breath and said "I'm sorry but Ms. Ronnan has a 50/50 chance to live because of the infection she has from her wounds, we found out that she put dirt on them so it would infect faster"
The nurse said we can visit her one by one, before Niall could answer I said I should see her first because for starters I am her boyfriend and he's the reason why she's here.
I stepped into the room and I saw her lifeless body on the hospital bed, her cheeks lost its shade of light crimson, her gorgeous blue eyes shut, her skin pale as a sheet of paper, and her hair lost its shinyness due to the blood she lost. I stared at her while my eyes start to form water.
I held her hand, simply brushing my thumb against her paper white skin. A warm liquid dropped on her and obviously she looked like she didn't feel it almost like a dead body was being grieved upon in front of me, me being the person who really loves her kissed her cheek and said " i love you forever" then walked away.
As I walked out the room I saw Niall rushing to get inside the room before anyone else. I guess he really didn't mean to hurt her and I forgive him for that but I don't know if Kat will ever forgive him for all he has done to her.
Niall's POV
I ran into her room and sat on the chair beside her bed. I gently took her wrist and held it in my hands. I felt something uneven on her skin, it felt rough on a certain area and felt like a long line. I turned her wrist and gasped at what I saw, it was a scar that formed 'NIALL HORAN'. I placed her hand back to the side of her bed and stood up.
I started arguing with myself and questions kept running inside my head like: Why did she cut my name on her wrist? Is it because i hurt her? Is it because she likes me and wanted my name on her wrist so she would remember me?. All those questions are running around my head, I was so frustrated of what she did so i picked up a chair and threw it across the room where it broke, I let out a loud groan and ran my hand through my head.
I heard a beep and I turned my face towards Kat and tilted my head. Again and again I herd a beep but I ignored it and went outside.
