The Truth About Riliane Lucifen d'Autriche

For this story, I'm going to pretend that Deep-Sea Girl did not commit suicide. Other than that, hope you enjoy!

The date was August 6th, 2021. Shelby Gills (Deep-Sea Girl) decided to visit her boyfriend Alexiel Lucifen d'Autriche and his sister Riliane. Alexiel served her and his sister some tea.

Deep-Sea Girl: Thank you, Alexiel.

Alexiel: Be careful, it's hot.

Deep-Sea Girl: So, Riliane. How is it that you're a princess and you don't have a boyfriend?

Riliane almost choked on her tea.

Deep-Sea Girl: Riliane!

Riliane: Are you trying to kill me, woman?!

Alexiel: Princess, she just wants to know about your love life.

Deep-Sea Girl: If I am to marry Alexiel sometime next year, I need to know more about my future sister-in-law. 

Riliane: Alright. You want to know, Shelby?

Shelby nodded.

Riliane: Truth is, I was in love. I was betrothed. With a guy named Kyle Marlon. He was a king, and I was a princess. You may think that it was that easy.

Deep-Sea Girl: Lemme guess. He doesn't love you back.

Riliane nodded.

Deep-Sea Girl: Aw...I'm so sorry.

Riliane: You're never going to guess who he actually fell in love with.

Deep-Sea Girl: Uh...nope. I got nothing.

Riliane: Remember Michaela Arklow?

Deep-Sea Girl: For real? He liked her?!

Riliane: Oh yeah. But this was before we moved here to Negi Root.

Alexiel: Michaela was alive at the time, too. And she wasn't a complete psychopath.

Riliane: I was jealous, and so I ordered Alexiel to kill her.

Deep-Sea Girl: Oh. I think I remembered reading about that one time.

Riliane: Now you know why I don't have a boyfriend.

Deep-Sea Girl: Do you know where Kyle is now?

Alexiel: We don't. He's probably still at Lucifenia.

Riliane: I don't think he has heard about Michaela's death, though.

Deep-Sea Girl: Huh.

Shelby sipped her tea silently. Now she knows a little more about Riliane.
