the drive back home

Betty's pov-
Jughead and I went to pick up juliet from school.
Juliet was talking to a guy. When we reached she saw us and sat inside the car. Jughead started driving back home.
Jughead - how was school today?
Juliet - good.
Betty - who was that guy jules? I've never seen him.
Juliet - oh yeah I forgot. he's James. We are in the same history class.
Betty - oh....
Juliet - dad?
Jughead - mmm.
Juliet - when you were in high school and you liked a girl did you just confess to her.
Jughead - not exactly. I liked this one girl I was crazy about her. Whenever she was around my stuttering would come back but one day after we hung out all time I just did it.
Juliet - who was this girl? Do you still know where she is? Now getting more interesting in the story.
Jughead - yeah she is my wife now and your mom. Glancing towards me. I smiled.
Juliet - that explains how confidently you told that story. He and Juliet laughed.
Jughead - so you like a guy?
Juliet - N-no who told you that
Jughead - your question did. Trying to figure out if the guy likes you back and when will he confess.
Juliet - ok ok. There's this guy....
Betty - so 'this guy' conversation is finally here.
Juliet - did you and grandma ever had this?
Betty - yes of course. It was weird because I had to do a lot of explaining.
Juliet - who was the guy?
Betty - your dad. Smiling at Jughead. He smirked.
Juliet - you two are unbelievable. Did you two date anyone in high school except each other.
Jughead - I did. 2 girls before Betty. She already knows.
Betty - I also dated 2 boys.
Juliet - what happened with the 2 girls?
Jughead - one dated me because of a bet and the other was crazy it didn't work out. She use to scare every girl away from me.
Juliet - ooo that's bad. What about you mom?
Betty - one guy was a jock. You know how jocks are good looking and biggest jerk. He cheated on me. Your dad was the reason i broke up with the other guy.
Juliet - omg dad you made that happen.
Jughead - it's not what you think I was just minding my business and she was drooling over me. He smirked.
Betty - oh really. So It was not your idea that we should go to the beach where you can show off your abs and play your hot spell.
Jughead - well....yeah.
Betty - ha see i told you.
Jughead - it did work. Got something to say about that. Smirking. Betty blushed and scoffed.
Juliet - omg you guys. She laughed.
Betty - after that day I knew I wasn't interested in my boyfriend so I broke up with him. When I told jughead he was delighted and straight asked me on a date. I know it sounds witty but that's what I wanted. Jughead smirked.
