I was watching Friends since it's one of the movies that makes me so happy.
" Hey cookie" I heard my dad's voice as he walked into the sitting room.
" Hey Dad" I greeted back and he pecked my cheek.
" Watching Friends, huh?"
" Yep, this is one of my favorite movies that literally takes me out of the real world." I said and I heard him chuckle .
Few moments later, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach but choose to ignore it. Then the pain increased.
" Ow" I whined.
" What's wrong, honey" my dad asked worriedly.
" I don't know , but my stomach hurts" I said clutching my stomach tightly.
" Hey it's okay , maybe you should rest upstairs" he suggested , I simply nodded then walked all the way up to my room . I layed down on the bed and stared blankly at the ceiling.
Then I felt something warm come out of me. What the hell is wrong with me today.
I went to the bathroom to check out what was wrong with me and to my greatest surprise, I saw blood all over my panties.
Did I injure? How in the world did I get blood over me?
I began to panic but tried to comfort myself but I couldn't so I began to let the tears fall.
" Cookie" I heard my dad's voice in the room but I didn't respond due to my crying.
Then the bathroom door opened revealing my dad.
" Cookie, what's wrong" he asked holding me.
How do I tell him, there's blood over me .
" I've got bl...bl..blood over my. .panties" I managed to say.
" Blood?" he asked in a shocked tone.
" Yeah, dad I don't whether I'm gonna die" I said and he gave me a 'really' look .
" You're not gonna die, you see , you just saw your period " he spelt out and now it was my turn to get shocked
" My what?"
" Your period... Here have this" he said bringing out a packet of pads from my bathroom drawer, wait how did that get in there? As if he could read my mind he said.
" I knew this day would come, so I decided to get prepared for it" he said and I smiled.
He left the bathroom for me to change , After changing my clothes , I wore

I walked downstairs slowly and hugged my dad since he was at the end of the stairs.
" Thank you so much dad" I said and he kissed the top of my head .
" You're welcome baby" he said . Then I sneezed hard.
" Oh no" I freezed before running upstairs. And I could hear my Dad chuckle. .
