From Finneas:
Are you here yet?

Laughing at the text from one of my closest friends, I quickly reply and make my way to the building. Where I see my favorite ginger waving like a five year old "you're finally here! I have so many ideas I can't wait!"

Embracing the man in a hug, we head into the studio and start working on our song. I've known Finneas since came to Los Angles a year ago. Moving from my small town in Louisiana, to the busy city was a big adjustment. I quickly befriended Finneas, and Taylor Givasis.

"How about we add a beat right here? Let it play out and then slow it down to do the last verse?" Liking my idea, we try it out and the song is quickly finished.

Less than an hour later, we are leaving to catch lunch with Taylor and Tez. Of course, the conversation about my dating life comes up "guys, I'm happy by myself. Would someone be good for me? Absolutely,"

My friends quickly start to laugh at how goofy I am- even though I don't try anything at all "I need new friends. But to finish off, I am not going to rush anything. If I find someone, then great, I find someone. But you can bet your ass I'm getting married having at least two kids before thirty"

Giving me the look, I know I will have to explain for the hundredth time why I don't want kids after thirty "I would love to not be old as hell when my kid graduates high school, I need to look good, not walking with assistance"

The laughter soon dies down when finneas gets a call from his sister "yeah, I'll be there soon. Bye Billie" seeing that Finneas and I came together, I quickly get my stuff together and hug my friends, giving a long, dramatic goodbye.

After dropping Finneas back off at the studio, I head to make groceries. Being new to the vegan lifestyle, I try lots of different things to see what I like most. Heading to pick fruits, I accidentally bump into someone

I turn to see Finneas' mom, Maggie. "I'm sorr- Hi Maggie!" I give the woman a huge hug. Singe coming to L.A, Maggie has been the only parental figure in my life. I get homesick a lot, but I can always count on calling Maggie. Day or night "Hi sweetheart, how have you been?"

When Finneas went on tour last year, I practically lived at his parents' house. Don't get me wrong, I did have my own place, but I knew his parents hated the quiet house when both of their children were on the road. So, I would come around for dinner and sleep in the guest room.

I didn't mind doing so seeing that I hated being in my apartment by myself. The building wasn't the best, and I was really struggling to make ends meet at that time. When Maggie and Patrick offed for me to move in until my money was straight, I quickly took the offer seeing as if it was I moved in or lived in the streets.

Not even two months later, I got a call to do a television show. After a few months, I was able to afford a decent apartment in Los Angeles. I met Taylor the day I moved into the new apartment complex. She was moving in with her boyfriend, Nash Grier.

It was at that moment I realized that Nash was my costar in the show. I never forgot what Maggie and Patrick did for me in those five months. No matter how tired I was after set, I always made it to dinner with them and stayed until morning where I would make breakfast.

Finneas called and checked up on his mom daily. He didn't know I was there with her, making sure that she was okay. When he found out, I believe he saw me as more than someone who would goof off and could sing. He saw me as his family and someone he could count on.

"I've been good. I'm sorry I haven't been over the last few weeks, sets been crazy. But, I promise I will cook you dinner this weekend at my place, that's if you are free?" The kind woman smiles at me and lets me know she is free. We decide to do a girls' weekend- Me, her, and Taylor.
