(Third POV)
Scott had just gotten out of the shower, when he hears something in his room. He puts a towel around his waist and walks into his room. He looks up and fear overtakes him when he sees his mother being hold up by the throat, with Jackson's tail.
"As you can see, Scott, there's been some interesting developments lately..." Gerard says, making Scott look at him. "I think we should catch up." He says again, making Scott look between him and his mother.
Scott makes his claws appear and he looks at Gerard cautiously. "Come on, Scott. Let's be realistic about who's got the upper hand, here." Gerard says. "Let her go." Scott says, making Gerard smirk. "Can't do that. ...But, let her live? That's up to you." He says again, making Scott frown.
"What do you want?" Scott then asks, looking at Gerard again. "I want to talk. You haven't been answering your phone." Gerard says. "Let her go, and we can talk about whatever you want." Scott says, looking back at his mother with worry.
"I want the same thing that I have always wanted-- I want Derek and his pack." Gerard says, standing up from his seat and walking over to Scott. "You have them all in hiding. How am I supposed to know where they are?" Scott asks.
"I think, with the proper motivation, you could draw them out. And, if you haven't noticed, I now have a fairly impressive means by which I can motivate people. Why do you think I'm able to control him?" Gerard asks. "Oh, you know the myth, Scott-- the Kanima is a weapon of vengeance." He says again, making Scott frown.
"This is about Kate?" Scott asks. "I didn't just come here to bury my daughter. I came to avenge her." Gerard says in anger. Jackson then lets go of Melissa, making her fall to the ground and cough. Scott runs up to her, crouching down next to her. "Are you okay?" Scott asks, looking around to see that Gerard has disappeared.
"Oh, I don't know what's happening..." Melissa says, making Scott frown "I don't know what that thing was, or even what you are... but whatever he wants, just give it to him." She says, making Scott look at her sadly.
"Mom, it's not that easy..." Scott says, pleading for her to understand. "Do what he wants. Just give him what he wants." Melissa says again hysterically. "I don't know if I can." Scott says, sighing.
(Your POV)
I'm sitting in my bedroom, thinking about everything that has happened over the past two weeks. Scott and I had fake broken up, making a scene at the school. Scott's mother had seen him and I in our werewolf forms, and she had been trying to ignore Scott ever since. I had been ignoring Lydia as well, since I found out she had used a type of wolfsbane to poison us and bring peter back.
If I had been unlucky, the type of wolfsbane would have been able to kill me. Stiles and I hadn't been talking very much either... It looked like everyone was in their own little funk after the whole police station situation. I had tried to call Allison, but she never picked up.
My relationship with my mother hadn't been easy either, she rarely spoke to me. She acted like nothing had happened between us, but I could feel her being even more distant than she had already been my entire life. I suddenly hear a knock on my door, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah?" I ask, not moving from my spot on my bed. The door opens and I can see Lydia entering my room, a guilty look on her face. "Y/n... can we please talk?" she asks me, making me sigh and nod at her. She gives me a small smile when she sees that I'm ignoring her and then she walks over to sit on my bed.
