She rounded the corner, as she did she looked up at the street sign 'Privet Drive' , how had her life come to this she thought, her heart heavy, she didn't want to be here but she had to be, for Lilly and James. When she arrived at Number 4 privet drive she saw and old man with a snow white beard standing next to a very stern woman, she knew these two people well, 'Hello Professors' this was all she could bring herself to say for if she said more she feared she might break down. They Stood there in silence for a few moments each lost in their own thoughts. Then suddenly an engine sound, that was slowly getting louder, broke the silence. As the sound got closer she saw a rather large motorbike being ridden by a rather large man. "Hagrid?" she said as the giant landed. As he got of the bike she noticed he was carrying a small bundle wrapped in blankets. She knew immediately what this bundle was, she practically ran to Hagrid "Can I hold him?" she asked, barely holding back the tears that threatened to drown her, Hagrid passed the little bundle over to her, she looked down on the sleeping baby boy and whispered to him, "It's probably for the best" as a tear slipped down her cheek. "Hagrid at last, where did you get the motorbike?" the old man asked.
"Young Sirius Black lent it to me sir."
"No problems were there?' 'No sir, the house was almost destroyed but I managed to get him out before the muggles started swarmin', he fell asleep just as we were flying over Bristol.", the old man and woman came over to where the woman was standing the baby, the stern woman leaned over to look at him "Is that where-"she said as she looked at the lightening shaped scar on the infants for head. "Yes, he'll have that scar forever" the old man replied. "But couldn't you do something about it Dumbledore?" the woman who was holding the infant questioned. "Even if I could I wouldn't, scars can come in useful, Cecelia." Dumbledore said as he gave her a knowing look. 'Could- could I say goodbye to him" came a blubbery voice from behind Cecelia, "of course Hagrid" she replied as she handed over the little baby. "Dumbledore, how do you know they will even take him, they might just throw him in an orphanage or something." Cecelia enquired. "I doubt very much that they would just abandon him" Dumbledore replied calmly. "We should best be leaving soon" the stern woman said. "Yes indeed Professor McGonagall", Dumbledore replied as he took a letter out of his cloak. Cecilia took the infant gently from Hagrid. "Good bye, my little one" she whispered to the child as she laid a gentle kiss on his forehead. With great regret she placed him on the doorstep as Dumbledore placed the letter in the blankets. They all stood there for a minute and stared at him, silently wishing him all the best. As they were about to go their separate ways Cecelia had just one more question, "Dumbledore promise me that no matter what, Harry gets to Hogwarts, no matter what those Dursley's say."
"I will do whatever it takes my dear." he replied and then disappeared into the night.
