Hey y'all!
I had an English assignment to write a short story on a important issue in today's society- I chose domestic violence. I never considered myself a great writer, so obviously I looked at this assignment with dread.
However, I have an amazingly, wonderful best friend who is an awesome writer that helped me get the idea of the story and how it should be laid out. Although I wrote the story myself, I do owe her some credit for not only helping me, but for being such a positive influence in my life.
When I got the grade back from my teacher, I was pleasantly surprised at what I got. This was definitely an ego boost and was what compelled me to post the story on Wattpad.
So here you go, I hope you enjoy it even though it's super short. I set up the story and ended it in a way where it could be continued, however I won't be continuing it.
